KD seemed weirdly angry tonight in the 3rd/4th quarters. Not sure what that was about.

KD had 1 FGA in the 4th if I'm not mistaken.

Yep, only 1 attempt. I get that Pacers were trapping/doubling him a lot but that didn't stop him in the first half.

A win is a win an frankly getting Harden going was more important than KD's shot attempts. Harden is the key to unlocking the rosters potential

Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but that was a load of crap I saw in the 2nd half

I don’t have the same feeling I have about Brooklyn like I had last year going into the playoffs. They look disjointed and playing like they don’t want to play together. Having terrible coaching doesn’t help. Hope they figure it out.

You must have not seen us play last season then. Before Harden & Kyrie started dominating as the best backcourt in the league, there were quite a few nights which had us frustrated and questioning the outlook.

Correctumondo sir, they were not playing well their first few games. What I like about the last few games is the defensive intensity has picked up and I think that came with the territory of the new rules. Gotta love it, we are going back somewhat to the early 2000s where it was about defense and the offense figured itself out. If only we can be a top five defensive team.

Harden had a little more feel for this game. Progress. Still operating at maybe 70 percent which is better than 50 I guess. We should see a different team out there soon.

To be fair I didn’t watch until the Harden trade so I wouldn’t know exactly how Brooklyn played prior. I just know when the playoffs began last season minus the 17-18 season with Houston it was the 1st I legit knew Harden and Brooklyn would get a ring.

Oh wow, apparently Durant should've been thrown out for throwing the ball with force...

That would have been ridiculous if KD was ejected for throwing a ball away in frustration, the fact that rule exists at all is just bureaucracy gone mad. If they want to change the foul rulings to have a more flowing and authentic viewing experience I don't know why they'd then want on the other hand to neuter player's personalities and passion in a sporting contest.

I really like our fight on defense so far, but rebounding is still an issue and the offense is the worst it's been at any time in the last 2 seasons. Even last season when we started erratically we were still scoring with ease, I made a comment then that we never seemed to have scoring droughts and it was unlike any team I'd ever seen (this was before Harden trade). Defense and effort can get us so far, but we aren't going to be close to contending for a title with our current team if this is the offense we'll see all season. Kyrie and D'Antoni are big losses but there is no replacement in sight for them, unfortunately right now a lot hinges on Joe returning to his previous level but I feel he's still in a stupor after that stinker of a Milwaukee series. Lucky he's got 82 games this season to work it out.

Ooh lala, that seems like a pretty dang mighty Xmas request, but... tis (getting in to) the season?

Like... top ten would be nice (pretty much making us an unstoppable team), once we get our offense tuned back up?

Yeah Sasha, I agree with the spirit of your thoughts, but at the same time, we can't have basketballs flying in to the stands on the regular.

That said, I'm guessing that the KD non-call was due to the fact that dude never does shizzle like that. Not to mention, it seemed like a plain unnecessary, obnoxious foul to no good end.

the thing about that is that the intent clearly was a frustration shot after the whistle, but he just happens to miss everything. Instead of clanging off the backboard and probably being a no call it's suddenly a coin toss as to whether it's an ejection.

It's not explicitly stated (it should be), but intent is implied in the spirit of the rule. A T and no more was appropriate.

Although last nights game vs the Pacers ( Without Malcom and Caris) was not what we envisioned a month ago. It was still an impressive win in it's own right. It was a come from behind win that looked bleak. We showed positive signs on both sides of the floor.

100% agree with MDB on Harding. We couldn't ask for more than Harden have a "breakout" game and flirt with a triple double. This could be a huge building block for us and actually help Joe get back on track.

Frank Isola said last night after the game that our 41 FT attempts was the most by any team this season.

Shout out to LA for a great game and also surpassing 20,000 points scored.

Also Paul Millsap for his efforts.

Man, can we DNP Joe already? Dude has become nothing but a shell of himself. It’s painful to see him CONSTANTLY getting blocked while driving to the basket, getting beat by whoever he guards and bricking houses whenever he shoots..

Harden stopped foul baiting and instead went in for straight up scores and got hacked every single time.

He's adjusted to the rules.

its early...

-10 new players
-Harden coming off injury/out of shape
-Kyrie not with team unexpectedly right before camp (dude is a 27 ppg 50/40/90 player)

for perspective, we started 14-12 last season and routinely lost to trash teams.

we will be humming by christmas

i felt like he was trying to chuck it hard off the backboard. Technical for sure but intent matters and rules our not the league probably doesnt want to toss stars from games for non violent acts or acts not directed at officials
