Also Kyrie has a lower FT fate then some other guards around. I think he would be unbelievable in Fiba settings.

Let’s say we traded Tobias for Kyrie and he went full flat earth & retired

What does that do to our cap going forward?

He has a player option at the end of this season, so if he retired we’d get cap space. We’d still be over the cap with the rest of our current though.

Even I wouldn't trade Tobias for that.

SloMo. Yuck.

This team may not be better without Tobias but it's a lot more aesthetically pleasing. Feel bad for him personally but looking forward to watching these next handful of games without his ball stopping and reluctant 3p trigger.

They'd better move him before the league sees how much better the team looks without him on the floor. It felt like we were watching a team actually built for today's NBA for the first time. It's funny, but Simmons with this group makes total sense. Move Tobias and Thybulle for shot creators / 3&D type players, and we might have something.

Of course, Embiid in the lineup changes that ............

Tobias, his playing style and his salary have always been the problem

Joel & Ben co-exist in parallel universes but actually work

Throw Tobias into it and it complicates things

I don’t expect Ben back & it’s a shame

Tobias for Lillard?

No deal from the Sixers side. Maybe for Danny Green.

It bears repeating, over and over if necessary, that the first order of business here should be to move Tobias.

Then you worry about Simmons.

Would DET take Tobi and 1st for Grant? Do they have any filler contracts to add that makes up the salary difference?

How about McCollum for Tobias? Would either team want that lol

Lillard / Simons / Powell / Harris / Nurkic
Gets Simons in startling lineup and moves Cov to bench

McCollum / Curry / Green / Simmons / Embiid
Gets Simmons to buy back in and during half court, we have McCollum out there. Moves Maxey to run the bench unit.

Not sure Portlands opinion on Tobias and not sure if this ultimately helps the Sixers when they need it though.

Tobias and Drummond for Damian Lillard

Why for the Blazers:
Frees up Simmons to play with CJ
Tobi adds a scorer/shooter with size
Drummond solves all their defensive problem

He was playing well the last few games on both ends though. Both he and Embiid are ball stoppers. Ben may swing the ball but at a fault , he's a liability. Tobis a consistent 20 pts and every one else is so inconsistent , so the 76ers will miss him.

Simmons will win 50 games with virtually any lineup

Tobias is a journeyman who is overpaid by 15-20 million

Nice guy but that’s about it

It remains to be seen if Ben can win 50 games in an Embiid-less lineup.

These offers are trash

Lillard has had a rough start to the season but the issues don’t look physical to me and I’ve watched every game.

He’s just missing shots he normally hits at a higher rate.

Certainly not trading him for a package around Tobias Harris. We wouldn’t trade CJ for Harris.

No deal for CJ on Sixers end.

Shooting it 20 times to get 23 points. Sub 70% FT. Blazers are 10th in the West. He's 30 years old. Not worth it.
