Misleading. Ben had a PS5 and tv brought out and placed in front of the stationary bike and he was playing FPS games all day.

Curry+Maxey > Curry+ Simmons

Especially when considering no Joel or Tobias

Dame isn’t cooked, but he isn’t special right now. No package for that, Simmons straight up if they are lucky, ask for Simons too.

I would starting to look at the Celtics as a serious trade partner.

They for sure need someone like Simmons right now

Remember when the T'Wolves fans had apprehensions on trading Beasley and McDaniels for Ben Simmons? Lol. 10 points between those two tonight plus DLO (3pts) with 9 minutes left in the 4th. They have nothing to give us.

For whatever reason they are some of the lowest IQ fans on this site.

I see the word Simons and I like it. Cmon Morey none of my boys except for Embiid, Joe and Korklord (not korkmaz completely different player) even the Hawks have more of my boys it’s BS!

Oh yeah that Jaylen Brown deal looks nice right now.... yes I am from the future and yes we will win the chip next year with Simons putting up 15ppg in the finals.

Spurs can keep Dejounte.

I want Keldon Johnson, Primo, 2 picks and a pick swap.

Dejounte Murray is so good right? Ok keep him.

Why do you like Keldon?

I really dont think you can win with a guard who is as bad in scoring like Dejounte. I dont value guards who are triple doubling their way to be relevant like Westbrook.

What you are paying for Dejounte is his rebounding and defense at the guard position, which are probably the least valuable traits you need for the guard position.

At 17.8 FGA, there are a lot of guards who can get you 17.8 ppg. His scoring is very inflated.

Cheaper alternatives with close to Dejounte’s value are Ricky Rubio and Josh Richardson. I’d also prefer playing Shake, Seth, Milton and Kork over Dejounte. I want a guard who can SHOOT and score efficiently.

A better alternative to Dejounte is DeAnthony Melton.

Keldon for me is just as valuable as Dejounte. It’s not saying much. I dont like both. But by getting the lower perceived value in Keldon than Dejounte, i believe this will allow the Spurs to be more open to trade me Primo and those picks.

If not Keldon, then who should we get? Derrick White? Vassell? Derrick White maybe a better player but not much and he’d be burried with our guard depth that I dont think he can provide us with much short term value.

Spurs knows how favorable guards are in today’s game. Among the five positions in basketball, guard position is the easiest to inflate. We’ve seen it in MCW, RW and Josh Rich (Heat). Spurs is doing a pump and dump scheme and you’d be a sucker to buy into what they’re doing

I dont think you can win with Tatum’s style of play.

Tatum should be treated like Devin Booker, but he’s treated like CP3. Suns realized the same problem so they went for CP3.

Tatum is the guy who you dump the ball to bail you out on offense. Not the guy you let him initiate your offense with.

If Im the Celts, im trading Jaylen Brown for DeAaron Fox. Let Fox run endless PnR with Al. Then if it’s denied, i’d dump the ball to Tatum.

Jaylen would fit perfectly with the Kings while i doubt there’s much teams who can match my offer.

Watching this roster play without Tobias (albeit against the worst defense in the league of the teams trying to make the playoffs) makes me dream of Simmons and Embiid playing with 3 quick trigger dribble drive shoot guys (of which we have a number of now).

Just dump Harris for whatever and re-integrate Simmons.

We’re the best offensive team in the league with Tobias and without Ben. Finally we are one of the best PnR teams. And you want to have Ben back?

Once you have Ben, you can’t run this collective dribble drive. This is why we are 17th in PnR ballhandler scoring last year and we jumped to 6th this year.

For instance look at this PnR possession, look at the 4 hawks players not being able to rotate to the rim because all four has to stick with our shooters.

Look at how easy Kork is running PnR with Drummond as a roll man and Niang spacing the floor.

Kork runs PnR. Generates 1v2 possession. He can either opt for an oop or drop pass for drummond, score on midrange or kick it to shooter.

If you tell me you want Ben back because we took a step back on defense and we’ll have some size issue against bigger teams, then I might buy into that. But offensively, we’re much better without Ben.

It has ALWAYS been the logical lineup & why Tobias - CJ made the most sense

Are they still learning?

Those guys have around 100 more games of experience on Simmons and Embiid.
Also more play-off games I guess under their belt?
But they are still young and still have to reach their prime? I don't bite, this is their prime and they should be carrying that team much more than they are doing now

Seems to be a fun season again to check the Boston Celtics forum from time to time

They have real problems

Ainge burned their assets and they have nobody to tie the team together

Marcus Smart might be right but fact is that he’s their pg, had ZERO assists and is as guilty as anyone of jacking up dumb shots

Doesn’t excuse them but I wouldn’t be happy if I were the Jays

I'd love for us to completely pull Simmons off the table for them and leave Harris for CJ as our only offer. They are a mess.

I wish Ben realized how few contending teams there...with him, we're probably one of just 4-5 teams with a realistic shot to win the whole thing.

Tobias still needs to go though.
