Shams and Woj tweeting about Tobias Harris going into protocols but we're not sure what's going on with Middleton? Hmm...

To me the big news the last two games is that Bud went to attacking the pick and rolls, something he hasn't done at all-ever. The only times it has been used was in the playoffs last season and it was Tucker who was attacking the screener, rather than dropping. I'm not even sure Bud wanted him to.

Supposedly Bud went to it, because the Bucks are getting killed inside anyway, even with the drop defense. This is long overdue and Bud admitted last night that he is finally experimenting with it. The drop is a passive defense that invites open shots. Hedging on ball screens is much more aggressive and forces the offense to actually make the right decision, rather than know they will have an open shot.

The defense the last two games has been good. Hopefully, they stick with it and try to improve on it.

Our record was ordinary through the first 20 or so games last season. At one point i think we lost 5 in a row. As long as everyone comes back fit in the next two weeks i am not concerned.

My only concern with our current status is it is killing my preseason win prediction!

50+ games is plenty of warm up for the postseason. Absolutely no reason not to take every precaution in the first few months of the regular season.

If we had just won one of those home games against the T'Wolves or Spurs we'd be in a position to be 5-3 after tonight and I think everyone would be much happier. Losing both of those hurt.

John Hammonds is not only responsible for the Bucks recent (2020-21) championship but also the last title by the Detroit Basketball Team (Sometime in the 2000s? Maybe?). Can these once-great franchises reach the summit again? Will Geremae (sp?) Grant finally fix his first name? It's Slender Man vs Robot Cops. Shoot it directly into my veins, Adam Silver, I'm ready to taste the rainbow.

The Wolves shot really well so whatever. But that Spurs game? The Spurs were bad and we were worse + didn’t put in any effort.

For those wondering, Bucks are +29 in 224 Giannis minutes and -54 in 112 minutes when he sits.

I wish the Bucks would be more forthcoming about DDV's status. His ankle ligament surgery was just over five months ago, so assuming his rehab and recuperative powers are about average, he should be close.

How Long Does It Take to Recover from a Torn Ankle Ligament?

This depends on the extent of the injury, whether you have other related damage, and whether you have surgery.

It can take anything from a few weeks to several months – depending on the tear (partial or complete), and the amount of physiotherapy you are able to do.

If you have had an ankle ligament repair, you may be able return to high impact sports after 4 to 6 months.

For now, scrubs are clearly struggling to play non-garbage-time extended minutes. You'd think Thanasis would have a few post moves just from watching his little brother, but he doesn't. I don't know where you find points with this roster without wearing Giannis out. I generally don't like betting totals, but if these two teams go over 211, I'll be surprised.

Donte was playing thru plantar fascitis as well

With the way the Bucks have been and are being with injuries, along with the Grayson extension, I would expect it to be worse than they would lead on. I don't expect him back until the calendar turns 2022 at the earliest.

Bet the Giannis + minutes jumps even higher when he doesn't have Thanasis on the court at the same time.

I wish we had our full team Friday against the Knicks. Knock their overconfident cocky asses down a notch or 3.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Lack of updates is concerning, but at the same time, we know he's doing on court work and seems like he's at least walking without a limp. It's been almost 5 months since the surgery now (June 8th), I wouldn't think it'd be too much longer. I imagine he's still "ahead of schedule with no timetable."

Feels like we should let Giannis sit this one out, give his left knee a little more rest. It's the Pistons. We can afford to get the scrubs get their shots up for a night.
