I disagree. If course we could use someone now but assuming Brook is healthy we really don't need one. And we should prioritize for the POs and not for RS.

Yet far more than statistics indicate. The truth is somewhere in the middle.

So I don’t know if we necessarily need another rim protector specifically. But someone who can guard bigs.
It’d be better if we wouldn’t have to bank our chances on repeating on Lopez’s health.
Portis becoming a more consistently good defender would help there too. Even then though hopefully Nwora or Semi or Thanasis or big man TBD can play some D when it counts if we need them to when injuries inevitably occur during a long playoff run.

We all know we wouldn’t be champions without P.J. Tucker, and we’ll forever be grateful for what he brought to our team.
I have no illusions that we’re going to be able to replace what P.J. Tucker gave to us — his heart, soul, grit, toughness. His defensive ability is elite and there are not that many people that can do what he does. Our whole thing was, can we use those resources now and going forward to hopefully be better in a different way? Can we be better offensively? Can we be more versatile with ballhandlers and attackers?
Did our team toughness increase through that postseason run? Yes, because P.J. Tucker played a big part in showing us the way.

We didn't lose a player, instead we found the players this team was always meant to work with.
Personally watching Tucker unable to keep KD to even 45 instead of 50 and then having to talk about his shoe size is most definitely not something I'm going to miss.

This dude: Bucks really are needing a Bismack Biyombo on the bench.

Would be pretty nice to have a veteran backup that could play high IQ and high intensity defense across the 3, 4 and 5 spots right about now, much less in the playoffs when injuries hit.
Oh but we have Semi. So we should be good. Or something.
And our owners got to save money! #OwnTheFuture

I thought Bud said yesterday that MIddleton didn't have Covid and it wasn't related to that? Also, do we know why Zora is out?

Bud did say Mids did not have Covid so maybe it's a close contact situation, I'm not sure.
All they've said about Zora is she's out for "medical reasons". Certainly could be Covid, it's been 2 weeks now since she missed the opener.
