Is it me or does the offense get stagnant when the opposition applies pressure defensively? Doesn't seem to take much to slow us down after a few missed shots. We still need more talent if we expect to be contender level team.

Starting with this game - the Pacers are as healthy as they've been all season and I don't think they are a team to be slept on at all. I expect them to play like starving dogs just like the Raptors and Pelicans did and I welcome it. If they bring their best effort and punch us in the mouth and we don't (or maybe can't?) respond properly then perhaps it's time for more drastic changes?

I'm not talking about trade Ju for sandwiches or give RJ the keys to the championship - I'm speaking more towards a change in the guard rotation and more specifically the second unit. It's been pretty horrible. I don't want to bench IQ because I know his shot will fall eventually and when it does we will all praise Lord Tom for believing in him when few else did. Not even asking for Alec to be benched either because he's honestly the only guy who has been hitting shots for us down the stretch and his defense is criminally underrated. Do wish he'd look to pass more though.

What I DO think we should experiment doing is putting McGrimes in when we get those large leads because ... well, why the hell not? We haven't been able to protect them all season thus far and it's usually due to complacency and lack of discipline. You plug the kids in and let them play like their soul was on fire for 4-5 minutes and I feel confident they wouldn't let teams get open looks from the perimeter. Just a thought.

Anyway - Ju drama and whatever aside, I'm sure we'll be okay. And if we aren't, it's just another instance of me being wrong as usual.

The Knicks lose to the "easy" teams, or have the toughest time beating them..so there's no advantage there.

You're better off getting a W with your game thread when the Knicks play one of the league's juggernauts.

The Pacers aren't that bad, they're 10th offensively and 11th defensively, their record may be bad but they've lost several close games 2 being in OT. This could be a trap game for JXL, which is why devious Melo is calling it "easy"
