Yeah OG has looked great. Hats off to the Raps for having a bright future.

My dark horse MVP bet, got in at +6500. He’s going to need an absurd 29–9-5 type line to will the Clips to the playoffs. I just wish I would’ve tossed some money on Ja as well, I believe he was in the same range (maybe +5000).

“I would just like to play basketball,” Smart said. “Every team knows we’re trying to go to Jayson and Jaylen. Every team is programmed and studied to stop Jayson and Jaylen. I think everybody’s scouting report is to make those guys pass the ball. They don’t want to pass the ball. That’s something that they’re going to learn. They’re still learning. We’re proud of the progress they’re making, but they’re going to have to make another step and find ways to not only create for themselves but create for others on this team to open up the court for them later down in the game where they’re always going to have to take those tough shots or take tough matchups when they do get the 1-on-1 or they bring the trap. It’s something we’ve been asking them to do and they’re learning. We just gotta continue to help those guys do that to help our team.”

It's crazy how things went down the last couple years. I thought the Clippers would be run away favorites with 2 top 10 guys and a couple years to add on MLE level players to round out the roster. Same with Lakers if I would've known James would still be this dominant. Add in Brooklyn.

A couple years later, we are defending champs and it wouldn't shock me if either the Lakers or Clippers miss the playoffs or if Nets get bounced early with no Kyrie and fat Harden.

I think Smart is eligible to be traded on 1/17 (he signed an extension this past offseason).

Saw the end of that LAC/OKC game. Clips just hit everything, but SGA didn't even touch the ball. They just ran iso's with Giddey and Bazely.

Man, Bazley had a terrible 30 seconds or so there late. Terrible turnover down 1 with plenty of time on the clock, then the brain fart kicked ball to reset the clock so they had to foul. You can forgive the latter as instinctive, but you sure hope for the former they pull it up in a video session and say "there's being aggressive, and there's being stupid..."

Bazley might be the worst "starter" in the league right now. I'll wait and see with Giddey as well even though I'm rooting for him. Everyone always gets enamored with the tall wing that can dribble and pass really well, then just kind of forgets that the foundation for other skills needs to be there if we're talking "star" potential. I don't think his shooting mechanics are broken, but they certainly don't look great.

Me any time somebody so much as hints in the slightest at not yet being head over heels with our beautiful boy Josh.

Had no idea the NBA changed the ball this year... That's interesting.

Will Giannis still have improved shooting when they inevitably go back to the Spalding?

Best team Hammond and Weltman have had down there. At least the most enjoyable to watch for my money. So kudos John.

Close this out so we don't have to tank the season.

Robinson cost Gianni another assist at the end there walking into the passing lane, lol.
