I know we all aren't happy with the offense, but there plenty of teams struggling right now for one reason or another early on

Offense/defense rating

Mavs 27th/9th
Clippers 26th/8th
Nuggets 25th/4th
Suns 23rd/22nd
Nets 22nd/10th
Bucks 17th/21st
Warriors 16th/3rd

It's actually pretty good.

Clearly lacking some talent on the team. Not playing that great. Yet they have a decent record.

Hopefully it can only get better from here (and by here... I mean after tonight... it's a tough matchup, so if it's ugly, it would not be surprising).

If they show up, I'll be happy even if they lose. The Heat are great and have a lot of good/great defenders.

Wouldn't be shocked if they lose by 30. And i'm starting to really, really not like KP. If he's on the court at least he plays some defense but it has become a habbit that when i think about Mavs games, i automatically don't even think KP will play. I'll miss Maxi probably even more though.

Good start so far. I like the plan of inserting JB into the starting lineup to switch things up. Might work particularly if Frank continues to play well.

He would've been a good trade target when his value was low due to incorrectly perceived off-court issues.
