Russ's best game so far, and he's been the best Laker as tonight as well.

Not defensively…

LeBron taking over in this 4th. Not including the bubble playoffs in 2020, this is easily the best he has looked physically as a Laker.

That was a tough left hand finish by LeBron.

No one's been good defensively. Don't think he's stood out as particularly bad on that end. On offense, his aggression and pace have kept the Lakers afloat in the second half until this latest LeBron run

Bazemore and Bradley is a comically bad backcourt offensively.

Warming up to Melo. Probably wouldn't hate this lineup:
PG: Westbrook | Nunn
SG: Reaves | THT
SF: LeBron | Bazemore
PF: Melo | Ariza
C : Davis | Dwight
Rondo, Bradley, Monk, Ellington, Jordan can spot fill in injuries though I suspect Rondo and Bradley get the most burn when it matters.

Re: The LeBron James - 21-22 Regular Season Thread
Refs are allowed to take points away like that?
Edit, so that Baze foul possession just ended up being an empty possession for the Lakers because they points got taken away but they didn't get an extra possession despite the foul. Refs are dumb.

Literally nothing good has come out of him posting up this season. No idea why he keeps doing it.

Given how this night has gone I expect Houston to hit the GW 3 here.

Re: The LeBron James - 21-22 Regular Season Thread
This would be a hilarious ending if the Rockets win this. Of course Monk misses one to leave the door open.
Rockets are at the very least gonna get an open shot. I have zero trust in the defense to get a stop.

Can't believe it came down to a last second play. Big 3 combine for nearly 90

LeBron
Teams are completely packing the paint any time he posts up this season. So he can either pass or end up taking a low % fadeaway.

Re: The LeBron James - 21-22 Regular Season Thread
All these games have actually contained good to great offensive showings but when lottery teams can hang 120 on you every night no win is comfortable. Before the Nets tweaked their D (no help from DJ's useless corpse) they gave 140 to the Wizards and 120 to the Cavs. Their stars were even playing at an MVP level but they could never win comfortably.
Bad defense shows up on 100% of the possessions, good offense shows up less than half the time depending on how efficient you shoot. It only counts when you make the shot. You need both to raise your floor and ceiling. If the problems persist after Ariza and THT return I'd substantially rework the cast around Lebron, AD, Westbrook and Carmelo.
