Let´s keep the streak going and bust all the chops of those ESPN & wanabee analysts!! I see a winnable game with the only obvious scorer being Embiid. Having said that, I expect him to go absolutely wild and rack up 40-50 points and a truckload of rebounds and fould draws. Vooch & Bradley won´t stop him but if he accounts for 40-50% of their offense I see this as a voctory. None of their promoted bench players out of the top 10 rotation worry me so I think we can try and press their guards & wings and create turnovers and transitions when they cross half court. I foresee Embiid playing 35-40 minutes tonight so we might be able to have a great 4th quarter if he is on tired legs.
I don´t know what kind of O they run but they their net RTG is 5.74 per 100 possesions. Ours is 3rd so that is very good. They allow a ton of points per game at 111 so we should be able to crack 110 if our shooting is lights out. TBH we are due for a 60% total game stat with hopefully 45-50% on 3´s. I shudder at letting DDR or Zach attaack the paint unless we pass and cut enough to draw Embiid out of the paint.

Keys:

1. Press the ballhandler and harass him coming up court, we cannot let Embiid get set in the paint or else it will be an automatic 2 points on basically a marjority of the trips when they are in their offensive sets.
2. Keep raining 3´s and hopefully we can hit 15-20 shots tonight, Lonzo & Vooch are due for breakout scoring games and in Vooch`s case it would be great if he could hit his 3´s tonight.
3. Get the same energy & output from Ayo, DJJ, & Bradley.

Probable Lineups:

That's why I think we should win this handily. Green, Lonzo, Ayo, & AC can pick Embiid's pocket by swiping at the ball on some possesions.

A couple ways to get this: let Embiid get his but shut down everyone else, or double Embiid every time he touches the ball and then be ready to steal it when he passes (he’s not Jokic).

Either strategy should work in our favor.

I'll probably jinx the heck out of this game and cause a loss by 20, but this is the type of news that would have gotten me excited last year and annoys me now. I want to see us play teams at their best not get lucky scheduling breaks now.

Hopefully the bulls get this one on the road. With all the Simmons drama, and Tobias Harris being out, we’re catching them at a good time to keep the momentum going if we win.

After that last game, I did notice Zach’s body language….he was so fired up, giving props to Vuc at the end, then DDR came up to him with that same fired up energy, almost as if they were saying something like “that’s what I’m talking bout”. I hope to see them feel that way after numerous wins this season. Hopefully they are enjoying the feeling, and don’t want to lose it, so they’ll keep fighting hard every game. I know I’m certainly enjoying this!

IMO the keys to a Bulls win are:

1) Make our 3's at a decent %

2) Keep Embiid at or below his season averages with below average efficiency

3) Keep our TO's below 14

Dude, same. My initial reaction to this news was "nice, easy win!", but after thinking about it a bit I want us to face full strength competition, at least in the early going when it's too soon to worry about playoff seeding.

I think the bulls are starting to believe in themselves the same chatter of "not playing anyone " talked about from detractors those players hear that as well so them beating Utah then beating a team many put ahead of them in the Celtics on the road is starting to instill a confidence in the players that can carry over into a game with the sixers as now, no matter the deficit the players are going to always feel they have a shot to win and not just lay down.

I do hope to pull this one off as the sixers could be at full strength when they come to the United center later in the week. Well without Simmons of course.

Hoping this team keeps rolling. Injuries on 76ers side are unfortunate but you can't play down to opponents in this league.

They have a good, deep team. As long as Embiid is out there, they’re going to be dangerous. They even beat the Blazers without him. Hopefully Bradley can continue playing well because we’re still in the part of the season in which Andre Drummond actually tries.

Looking forward to the game.

I feel like Korkmaz is a guy who always has big games against us. Drummond has been playing well to start the year. Embiid is always good. Don't sleep on the Sixers, and don't overlook them cause Harris and Green are out. I want us to come out aggressive from the jump.

They've got good wing defenders too in Maxey and Thybulle - and then obviously they have Embiid protecting the paint.

Hoping to see a full 48 minutes of good Zach

Sixers started out kinda icky the first couple games but they are 5-2 and that has been without Simmons and Toby has been out now too. They won't be a cakewalk, but I also think we can play with them just fine, which we couldn't say in years past. I think a split with them is fair based on talent of both teams. Drummond has been playing pretty well too.

Sixers have the best offense in the league. Even with Harris and Green out, they are exceedingly dangerous on that end. Bulls will have to bring it defensively. I am inclined to let Embiid have his, and stay home on their shooters, at least at first. I expect Tony Bradley to play well and be big factor. I think the Bulls win a tough one in a great playoff atmosphere. Should be fun.

It feels good to actually look forward to Bulls games and feel like we always have a good shot to win. Based on what I have seen so far, I feel we can run with any team out there.

I don't think you really have a choice with Embiid, We don't have an answer so might as well make him beat you and swarm the rest of the team. Just keep him under what he did against the Bulls last year and you should be golden.
