13 giant players tested positive and upon retesting only 1 person was confirmed positive. These tests leave a lot to be desired unfortunately. Imagine those players having a false positive the day before the game, getting blasted by america, causing their team to lose, only for it to be a false positive?

It wouldn't surprise me to see LaFluer insert a couple of gadget plays early on, just to keep Andy Reid on his toes. Like Cobb on a reverse, but with him passing the ball. A direct snap and run to Jones or Dillon. That kind of thing.

I'd be a bit surprised if they shoot for long-developing deep route plays unless the score gets out of hand.

To clarify, we are not blasting players for getting COVID. We are blasting them if it is due to recklessness (the actual result is immaterial). If Rodgers tested negative, I would still be pretty upset with how he has handled this. This is close to endemic like you have said, but that doesn't probably makes it even more important to try to get people vaccinated.

Loving the mental gymnastics people are performing to defend Rodgers. Guy is a class-A POS. "Homeopathic Remedies" GTFO w/ that insane stupidity. What a moron.

"homeopathic treatment" is a good one, lol!

Hope he gets better and plays for us asap anyway.

I feel like we have yet to try the jet sweep, might be cool to see some wrinkles out of it this week. But I think ground and pound is the recipe I am looking for.

Homeopathic doesn't equal immunized, either.

But I figured it must have been some **** like that for him to claim immunity without getting the vaccine.

Hopefully we don't see anyone else testing positive anytime soon - especially Love, who was apparently at the party this weekend.

It would be surprising if he's the only one.

My theory is Rodgers invited Love to the party to infect him, trying to persuade the fan base that Love, not Rodgers, is the bad guy.

Narrator: it didn’t work.

I'm actually looking forward to this. It's basically a one game (maybe 2) test for Love. He'll have a full compliment of weapons (sans Bob and Josh). The downside is KC is a very tough place to play, I'd rather see him make his first start at Lambeau.

And if he doesn't do well it doesn't automatically mean he's a bust. Rodgers first season we were 6-10 including a 5 game losing streak. He was up and down but overall he played pretty well, 93.8 rating, 28/13 ratio, 4,038 yards.

Love though has had 1.5 seasons, not 3, and his rookie season featured no OTA's and a scaled back camp and zero preseason games. So it's not apples to apples in terms of being ready. On the other hand we've seen plenty of QB's thrown into the first and perform well. Hopefully Love does the same.

ETA, that Dallas game that everyone points to with Rodgers and knowing he had talent. He was 18-26 for 201 yards, 1 TD. He did look good. It was his third season though. And he came in when Favre got hurt so he did not get first team reps that week in practice
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Rodgers was good at age 25, not great. That was his 4th season in the league.

I am sure people aren't going to give a 23 year old Jordan Love nearly enough patience. But I hope they do. Even if he became the starter next year, that would still put him a year younger and a year less in the league than Rodgers when he got his first shot.

I predict Love will make at least one boneheaded throw and at least one miraculous throw.

I have spoken
At a party given by a billionaire, Kurt Vonnegut informs Joseph Heller that their host had made more money in a single day than Heller had earned from his novel Catch-22.

Heller responds, “Yes, but I have something he will never have — ENOUGH.”

Who's getting "blasted" for testing positive? Who's doing the "blasting"?

Homeopaths should be able to have relations with whomever they want as longs as it falls within the bounds of consensuality.

2019: Cool, we get Rodgers vs Mahomes. That should be a good one.

Football Gods: No.

2020: Packers are hosting the NFC Championship game at Lambeau, We're probably going to get a Rodgers vs Mahomes Super Bowl.

Football Gods: No.

2021: The NFL cares so much about player safety that they added a 17th game to the regular season. We play the Chiefs in that game, so we'll finally get Rodgers vs Mahomes.

Football Gods: No.
