Slightly off topic but when did all the Rodgers is a diva talk start, did someone (and who) confirm those reports, etc.? Don't exactly have an opinion on the subject so I hope my question won't start some sort of argument, it's just something I was and still am curious about. I'm talking about real stories and reports of course, not some Skip Bayless level journalism or any kind of similar nonsense.

Maybe 2014ish? Stuff came out about his relationship with his family and he’s always been a weird, quirky guy. Then, Greg Jennings said some unflattering things. Over the last four or five years, Rodgers hasn’t done himself a lot of favors with the way he speaks to the media, etc.

I would say this is pretty much what I was thinking as well. I would say for many years, I just disregarded everything as guys hating on him, but after a while I was like, 'huh, maybe he is just a douche but he has been so good at football, I just disregarded it'. Doesn't help that Favre's **** on the org kind of got dumped on him, maybe that made me extra sympathetic, hard to know.

I'm always torn on it. Whenever I see him interviewed or get insight into his life, seems fairly down to earth, good dude. But over the years been a good deal of smoke about diva aspects to the point where a degree of it has to be true. At the end of the day, I'm pro-rodgers and think he's a good dude who probably can be fairly demanding in his personality due to his high level of operating.

Rodgers has always rubbed me the wrong way but he's one of the NFL's GOAT and at the end of the day that's all that matters to me.

I absolutely disregarded it until ~2 or 3 years ago, then had an "oh...****" moment.

I never gave a **** about any of the off-field, family drama, or personal life stuff because I've never really felt this need to like my favorite athletes as people. So long as it didn't affect their job performance, I could care less. But between the offseason drama and this, now this crap is actively affecting and hurting this team's chance to win football games.

Not going to get into more vaccine talk, other than to say he and everyone else should be/get vaccinated. He let his team and the fans down by being irresponsible.

On to the game, I still think we have a good chance considering how much of a disaster the chiefs have been. Just pound the ball with the AJ's, don't turn it over, and take advantage of the 2-4 turnover opportunities they've been handing defenses this season. Good opportunity to see Love in what is basically a free hit.

Rodgers is a weirdo for sure. Not a fan of him not being vaxed, but others aren't so can't get too mad about it (Lazard for example). Going to be interesting to see how Love does. Part of me wonders if Love shows out a bit really curious if they trade him in the offseason. KC defense is miserable and this would be a great chance to pad his value.

My fantasy football buddies and neighbors seemed more amped about the game now that Love is playing. Not sure the sentiment other than it gives us another ‘playing with house money’ opportunity after the last one went so well.

For me this is like finding out the woman you’re seeing believes in ghosts. Rodgers is not who I thought he was.

Homeopathy FFS?

The almost unanimous view of the scientific community is that the basic assumptions on which homeopathy rests are either refuted or implausible. First, the principle of similarity is a pre‐scientific premise that today has no scientific evidence or support. Hahnemann, like his entire generation of physicians, was strongly influenced by various forms of the ancient principle of similarity, beginning with a primitive “magic of similarity” up to the signature doctrine of Middle Age medicine and the early modern period. In essence, similarity is a teleological‐anthropocentric concept: External similarities of things occurring in nature were “sensuously” related to corresponding human categories. Thus, the walnut had to be effective for treating diseases of the brain, since its shape resembles the human brain.

Again, a personal decision until it isn't.

My impression is that he started off as a nice, sensitive kid, eager to please, eager to prove himself.

As he began to master his craft and no longer needed to please, his sensitivity became bitterness and later resentment. He also perceived himself as smarter than most, so his tolerance for perceived incompetence really annoys him.

The third act (starting recently) is on the edge of entitlement, where he feels like he should try to actively engineer the type of life and career he wants without worrying too much about others. Making up for his perceived sacrifices of the past.
