Say we continue on a tear to the playoffs. Who you got Masai grabbing to upgrade the C position moving in?

Christian Wood?..........Boucher + Precious + Flynn works on the trade machine.

Wood fits the Length/Athleticism/Versatile component the Raptors are pivoting too

I WOULD BE SO HAPPY if that happened. Reunite Pascal and Jacob

Don't need an upgrade.

Birch will eat up ~25 minutes, more if going against a traditional big and the rest of the time Raptors will be playing with one of OG/Siakam/Barnes at the 5 spot and force the opposing team to match them.

Frontcourt is already a logjam once we're fully healthy.

Poeltl is awesome but no way we can close games with his freethrow shooting.

Star: Towns, Ayton ( if they want to be trade)
Starter: JV, Potlel, Jarrett Allen, prozingis ,bagley, wiseman, ibaka
That all the Center who might be available ad could be a upgrade.
Conclusion: forget about It, let’s play some small ball.

I don't really see any realistic targets that improves the big rotation, fits our player timeline, fits our budget, and would be available. More than likely we'll see something in the offseason rather than at the deadline imo.

Whenever I see threads like this, I feel like I'm in the minority but I don't mind having Birch as the starting C on this squad. He's smart, low usage and defends respectably well. Don't need a huge investment in center, just need to make sure there isn't a gaping hole like last year.

Why would we stop or not develop achuiwa? We can also play OG or Barnes at C as well in a 4-5 guys are 6-8 plus lineup.

Precious/Birch have been fine. Getting an upgrade would require giving up talent.
