I never thought it was hard to begin with, but I'm also one of those Always Online people who see sales alerts for them every day. I haven't seen them in stock on the occasions where I've been to a place like Target or Best Buy, though. From what I understand they're not easy to get, but if you follow the right accounts on Twitter you can order one sorta easily.

It's very weird when he breaks character in the last 15 minutes or so. It was also strange as hell to learn he's older than me.

Met him several times when he was working on Videoball at events and parties during PAX. He’s an interesting person.

It's impossible to understate how terrible the boss battles are in GOTG. I'm so mad.

I'm sure he has a target/market - just like BDG does/did (I don't like his content now/did when he was with Polygon). It is most definitely not me :)

Unraveled was definitely my type of funky. His non-gaming meta commentary is definitely not.

If you don’t have twitter notifications on certain accounts enabled, it’s pretty much impossible. If you do have notifications enabled, it’s very hard but doable. I’ve gotten two of them in the past couple weeks (not scalping or anything, they’re for my dad and my friend).

GameStop has slowly been stocking up their stores for walk ins only. They’re announcing which cities they’re stocking up in a week ahead of time. Was able to get one in the Philadelphia suburbs this week. That’s probably the easiest way to get one right now. We were able to just casually walk in in the middle of the day and they had plenty in stock.

Forza Horizon 5 is out next Tuesday. I think this is the last of the year for me - mercifully. I don't recall the last time I had such a game backlog of things I still truly want to be getting to/back to.

Great reviews for FH5. Everyone is basically saying it's FH4, but with prettier graphics (somehow that's possible?) and in Mexico. And yeah, that sounds awesome. Can't wait.

I can't believe it's a day one Game Pass game. Can't wait to play it.

Read on Twitter

I haven't been impressed with what I've seen so far, but hopefully this looks good.

I keep going back and forth on if I should re-sub to Game Pass to play or if I want to buy it outright. I think I qualify for 3mo/$1 right now since it's been long enough since I last subbed, but part of me really wants this in my Steam library. Still undecided.

But yeah, generally speaking, amazing that this is Game Pass on day 1. Gotten a couple friends interested who have never played an FH game before. That's a win.

Read on Twitter

Has anyone ever gone to this?

I'm intrigued, just curious how crowded it gets and if it's actually possible to get to play games.

Wow, Forza 5 is a 118 GB install on the Series X. That might be a new high from the games I've picked up.

Also excited for FH5. Have it preinstalled and bought the premium pass. I have the Elite 2 controller, which is a quality control nightmare that I’ve had to replace 3 times, but the back paddles are amazing as the clutch and shift and now I can never go back.

I've got one, too, and it's awesome. But I haven't had any QC issue *knocks on wood*.

Funny, I saw it was on sale today at BB and thought about picking one up but I read enough reviews online talking about QC issues that I decided to pass.

This is something so stupid that I'm almost embarrassed to admit it, but it's 2021 and I only today bought ethernet cables for my consoles. I have an insanely old Apple router, but for 15 years I've just rolled with my wireless network connection. Sitting here watching Riders Republic download at between 4x and 5x the normal DL speed.

I hope MIG escapes the issues that've I had, but it's been an expensive pain in the ass and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. First time the Y button became unresponsive, next time it was the A button, the last time the RB button. I now get the replacement plan from Best Buy each time, so it's 30+ dollars to replace. I'm not kidding about it being hard to go back to not having the paddles.
