Evan Engram ran a 4.42. If we can get him cheap I think we’ll look past his blocking.
Look back at how well Jared Cook did with Rodgers.
Define "cheap"

Also it's not like Cook had a career year here. He came on late and made the big play in the POs but he in total averaged 3 catches for 37 yards a game and had 1 TD in 10 outings. If that's the barometer we're useing what kind of draft pick is that worth? Btw I'm not saying he wouldn't be usefull just asking what kind of compensation should that really be worth?

If they make a trade please let it be for some beef on the d line

The underlying point is that KC's run of success is/was due way more to guys they drafted in the 3rd and 5th rounds (Kelce, Hill) and you know, a QB they drafted in the Top-10 despite being a 12-4 football team the previous year. Their big free agent and mortgaging 1st round pick acquisitions, outside of Mathieu, have basically all been duds (Watkins, Bell, Spiller, McCoy, Clark). They've had one 1st round pick the last 4 years and they spent it on a running back. Now they have an awful defense, some aging skill position guys, and are staring down the barrel of cap hell with Mahomes being only 26 years old.

A 7th.

Also, you’re forgetting Cook’s 18/229/2 in 3 games in the playoffs that year, same way TT did when he let him go.

ETA: this article does a good job breaking down the impact Cook had on Rodgers.

I think a fast TE that can get down the field would have a similar effect.

Well that's interesting. I've heard that sometimes the laces are facing towards Crosby but I'd think that's on the holder not the snapper. MLF also said we were always using the same snap count which caused a block but that was a few weeks ago. Obviously there's something he was doing incorrectly.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

I think the only way for Jaylon Smith to salvage his career at this point is to just bulk up a bit and become a pure pass rusher. He's not suited to play MLB now that he is found out.

Kareem Hunt being an a**hole also didn't help the chiefs either. They were set at that position for years and they still haven't found anyone competent to take over outside of a few damian williams games in the playoffs. Taking CEH over Taylor looked bad at the time and looks really bad now.

Any interest in DeSean Jackson? I don't think he overlapped with Rodgers at Cal, but they're apparently buddies.

I wonder if they will try to resign Jace Sternberger, who was just let go. May make sense given his knowledge of the offense. Though, he really didn't show much when he was here.

No way Sternberger is back, IMO. He was cut because he didn't learn the playbook well enough, was inconsistent, and wasn't a good blocker. The substance abuse suspension sealed his fate.

If Desean wasn’t a knob Id like to see him as a kick/punt returner and as another deep threat. Alas, if he wasn’t a knob he wouldn’t be available.

I hope we all enjoyed our 1 year with a good MLB, because he's likely priced himself out of GB with the way he's playing.

I imagine he'll clear waivers and have more then a team or two trying to convince him to join

Packers better at least talk to him, especially at those prices.
