Karl-Anthony Towns is a tremendous player, and it is pure sour grapes to pretend otherwise. Dude is going to be awesome on a less inept squad.

I never said he wasn’t tremendous but super star in nba? , not really, his attitude needs to change for that to happen. He is too whiney and soft. But I hope other gms offer the wolves a lot.

Good riddance.

Soft weak and whiny.

Probably could get another 1st from Indy.
Make a second trade to clear up PG and cut the 1 yr contracts to get under 15 players. The Spurs probably need a bit more to make it happen, but they can be made happy.

I'd first try moving him to PF.

That is not what a KAT trade will look like. It’s probably wait until the offseason when a permanent POB is installed, and it’ll involve rookie scale players and draft picks coming back. It’ll be a rebuild. Surrounding Ant with a bunch of role players is the fast path to mediocrity and Ant asking out in about 4-5 years.

I could see a deal with the Pels. He’s a perfect fit next to Zion and the Pels are desperate to win before Zion demands a trade. They are also loaded with picks. Get NAW, Murphy, contract filler and about ten firsts and a few swaps. You could get Ingram in the deal, but I’m just not a big Ingram guy and I think that’ll probably lead to mediocrity too.

Are we really prepared for a step back like that?

Is it that big of a step back? We go from winning 30 games a year to 20. And thats if we don't draft good players moving forward.

The most important part to any trade question is what teams would be interested and what pieces would teams have to offer.

The cliche of not trading within your conference may be outdated, but I think many executives tend to live by it. That cuts your teams in half, and also takes some of the top packages off the table.

I hope any team that we trade him to also wants DLO. get rid of both of them. Start fresh with Ant, Jaden, Naz. Shop Beasley for picks as well if thats the case.

KAT saying this and that he was hacked definitely hurts his credibility with his teammates and the fans.

Dlo’s reputation around the league is still low after all these years later when he broke the NBA brotherhood code of cheating on your spouses got exposed to the world.

DLo only has one more year left on his contract and has no trade value. He might be salary filler in a trade. But I could also just seeing him leaving after next offseason as a FA.

Rosas. What were you thinking?

KAT spoke after practice today. Says he has no idea how that “like” happened. Was asleep when it happened. Says he’s very happy in Minnesota and plans on being here a long time

KAT said he knows he was hacked overnight because only three people have access to his Twitter account, including himself, and he knows none of them did it

He said he was asleep at the time, woke up to his agent informing him of the like

I mean, it wasn’t definitely KAT, as multiple people usually have access to these guys Twitter. As KAT said, three people knew his password. Could it have been one of these other people in his inner circle frustrated and liked the #freekat tweet? Sure.

Did a random person hack his account to like that one post? No chance.

Yes, it's possible, but I'm not buying it.

A lot of people used to say the same thing about KG with his seven consecutive first round exits. He finally got some support and made the WCF, then went to another good team and won it all.

KAT isn't KG, but he's still a fantastic player. I guarantee we regret it if we trade him.

Not even close.

Everybody always knew KG >>>>> KAT will ever be.

I’m not sure what regretting it means, I don’t think we’re getting much worse. If you mean KAT will go on to have more success with somebody else, that’s probably true, KAT’s a talented player.

The Thibs/Butler experiment failed and exposed Kat and killed his hype and hurt his reputation . The Rosas/Dlo experiment is a colossal failure so far as well, so I don’t blame wolves fans who want a fresh start and to start a new timeline with Ant and whatever the Wolves get for KAT and hopefully another top 2 wolves pick (Chet?)
