Good. At least they made it past the First Round. Not like last year.

They've had more success than the Nets have had in the past few years. If the Celtics are trash, then what is Brooklyn?

By the way, how is Kyrie helping out the Nets?

Lol we have never had a healthy team. And yet we still nearly swept the Celtics.

Enjoy Tatum's incoming trade demand.

They have not been trash every year like you said.Classic goal post again by you

They have underpreformed every year since then except the bizarre bubble year.

Not even true under Brad Stevens outside of 2019 with Kyrie and 2021 when they were bad at this time.

Injuries are part of the game and it was the fourth time since 2015 that Kyrie did not finish(or play in other time) the playoffs so this is a trend for him not a fluke.Good chance that it happen once again this year.

Well, yes, you have injury prone players so obviously you will not have a healthy team. Kyrie is not even injured, he's just not playing.

Also, you're using injuries as an excuse but saying the Celtics suck? Celtics have had severe injury problems for years. They nearly made the NBA finals with two max contract players injured.

Celtics still have done better than the Nets...make the conference finals before talking smack at least lol. If you're going to troll at least do it with a good franchise.

What the hell is he talking about, he got 0 assists as a starter.

He should be the last one talking. Tatum and Brown aren't P.G's, sure they should pass more but it ain't exactly their job to be primary ball handlers also, not every damn forward needs to be a point forward I swear. Get a ball handler (ideally, trade Marcus Smart actually for said ball handler) and that will do a lot of good.

Smart is upping Embiid's hand by throwing 2 guys under the bus

Embiid didn't throw Simmons under the bus. He was asked a question. He answered it.

And here is the thing - EVERY SIXERS FAN would have answered that question the EXACT same way. Hell, every NBA fan who watched that freaking game would have answered it the same way. I don't have the same level of knowledge about the C's situation, but the issue with Simmons - not shooting the ball and disappearing at the end of playoff games - had been a CHRONIC problem. The Sixers tried in house. They tried gentle jibes after games. NOTHING WORKED.

Oh, but we can't say anything in public! Why not? Ummm...you know...the player's code...keep it IN HOUSE...er...aahhh...

:nonono:

Sure, so did Smart, he "answered" a question *wink* *wink*

They can't lead to deep into the playoffs and definitely cannot carry you to a title without a huge amount of additional help. Al Horford was the only player tonight that didn't fold under pressure and made smart plays. Tatum and Brown just shotjacked and took low-IQ fouls when they were over the limit.

It's no wonder the addition of another selfish immature shotjacker (kyrie) caused such a meltdown in Boston. The entire team is centered around two of them. Tatum needs to be a second option and Brown should have been traded for a legit star.

I feel like Boston is a good landing spot for Ben Simmons.

Brown and Smart to Philly for Simmons and either Thybulle or Maxey.

Brown is far too good to be traded for a malcontent super-role player like Simmons. Throwing Smart in the deal just makes it worse.

The Celtics would receive the 2 best players in the trade, Smart is a good role player, but Thybulle is a better defender, with no offensive game, like Smart, but cheaper, and Simmons in my opinion is more talented than Brown, a frontcourt of Horford and Simmons would be very nice. Maybe a super role player like Simmons is just what Boston needs, because Tatum and Brown arent looking a good fit

As long as Harden doesn't hurt himself I would give us a good chance. Only KD like last year or nobody like the year before made it impossible.

Since when is James Harden as injury prone player?

Youre really bragging about making the Conference Finals after stealing our draft picks for 5 years. Its a massive failure that you didn't make the Finals at least one of those years.

The Nets were easily in the worst position in NBA history a few years ago. And they have somehow become contenders faster than the Celtics have.

You haven't won anything right now, so I wouldn't laugh too much at the low points of the other teams if I was you .... I mean the last time you did at least make the ECF, Lebron wasn't even in the NBA yet..It has been that long ....In fact the Celtics have make more ECFs since 2017(3 times) than the Nets have make in their history.

Yes you have a realistic chance this year, but not a reason to be too arrogant and laugh at the low points of other teams (not just the Celtics) especially when you have won nothing so far

It's possible it would be a good fit but unless the Celtics acquire another high level scorer, they aren't going anywhere with Tatum/Simmons.

Embiid + Simmons + Butler + Tobias couldn't even get to the Finals and subsequent teams accomplished less and less until they lost to the Hawks of all teams. Embiid is drastically better than Tatum.

Except Tatum and Brown are the primary ballhandlers and playmakers on the team.

I don't think I was laughing at the Celtics situation. I was laughing at you insinuating that Harden was injury prone.

I didn't come on this thread to **** on the Celtics as a franchise.

What I am saying is you guys blamed Kyrie for all your problems. Said he was a cancer and ruined your chemistry.

Outside of your little bubble run, the Celtics have underperformed consistently. And the reason seems to be a toxic environment with no chemistry.

So its time to realize it wasn't about Kyrie. Your team really just hates each other.

One of the most satisfying things about this season is watching the rest of the country finally realize…

A) how freaking good Caruso is

B ) How overrated Marcus Smart is

Lakers fans have known these two things for 2 years. Listening to Bill Simmons (Celtics Homer) acknowledge it is like music to the ears.

If this season flops, they should consider trading one of the Jays for a guard. Brown for Shai or Fox (not saying OKC or Kings will accept) would do wonders to make the Celtics better.

If I am the Celtics I want Haliburton. He is a great connector and passer. And he can help this team move the ball and shoot the ball.

I'm sure many teams would like Haliburton, but why would Sacramento trade him?

They need a small forward so hard to say.

Unlike the Celtics who have had tons of health luck.

The Celtics have been in the playoffs the last 7 years. Several of those teams had the talent to get to the finals if healthy. The last time they weren't dealing with health issues in the playoffs to at least one all star caliber player was SIX YEARS AGO
