Game 8: 76ers (6-2) @ Pistons (1-6) - Nov. 4 7:00 PM EST

I expect a better performance tonight. For the 3rd time already, we have an opponent playing on a back-to-back. Sixers have won 4 straight, will play their 3rd straight game without Tobias Harris and 2nd straight without Danny Green. The line has moved down from 7.5 to 5.

As long as embiid plays, the sixers should win this easily. I just hope to see some more from Cade so there is something to cheer for.

I’ll watch it.
The shots need to start falling though, it’s been rough so far.
I didn’t expect the Pistons to be a good enough team to compete for the play-in but these 1st 2 weeks have been brutal.

Cade should be shaking the no preseason, limited practice time rust off soonish.

Here's to hoping that whatever rust, ball problems, hideous offense, e.t.c. is shaken off, and some shots start to drop because of this game is anything like the last one, im out immediately.

That last game was one of the worst Detroit Pistons games I have ever seen.

I'm right with you on this. I've enjoyed watching some Memphis games these last few years even when they weren't winning much because it's cool to see players develop before your eyes. I thought (and still hope) the Pistons would be on that track this year, but I have better things to do with my life, and if I want a distraction of basketball, there's always Young vs Mitchell and their respective teams tonight.

I always watch. How else can I form a firsthand opinion? Going to have to get deeper into the season before I have any overarching conclusions to share. So far, not too encouraging.

Yeah, if we don't start competing harder, this is going to be a long year. Basically everyone in the east besides orlando is really trying to make the playoffs. And there really doesn't look to be that much separation between teams.

It's insane this year. In reality, there are only 5 really bad teams this year. It's an insanely competitive landscape.

The offense is so bland that any opponent knows exactly how every play works. At some point someone on the team will have to drive to the basket instead of 5-6 passes around the outside and a brick.

Off ball cuts, pick and roll, off ball picks, none of this happens. Its like watching a pick up game of middle schoolers at YMCA.

Plus all the guys we brought in/kept/changed are among the worst players in the league. Diallo, Frank Jackson, Joseph, Hayes, Josh Jackson, they all are playing so badly its hard to make sense of the roster.

Could Saben Lee, Pickett, Garza, Livers, McGruder actually play worse? We are losing by 30 points against teams resting half their starting line ups.

Yeah, even Cleveland has surprised early with Mobley playing really well (when supposedly he was more of a project supposedly than the other top picks)....

I think we are likely set in that bottom two in the East along with Orlando. The West it's likely Houston and OKC at the very bottom. The Spurs also are likely a sub 30 win team but I think they win at least enough to get Pop the record as winningest coach of all time this season which is 26 total wins they needed for the season.

The only thing that really disrupts that bottom 5 is if another team jumps in entering tank mode like Orlando blew it up last season.

I've exorcised that last 'game' fom my memory by watching highlights of Cade from college as well as Chet and Paolo highlights. The young Pistons led by a determined Cade GOINGHAM will have a game that does not require a priest, a rabbi and an imam cleanse from the depths of hell.

I'm waiting for the game where the intros for the players actually mean something.

As for now, Mason should just say their names, no lights down, nothing.
