He did not have to lie about it. Say what you want about Kyrie, but at least he didn't lie about his status and that enabled everyone around him to act accordingly. Rodgers could have just hid behind "I want to keep that private" and moved on.

Rodgers just didn't want to deal with any backlash coming off of an offseason of drama. But he should have thought ahead and considered what would happen if, lo and behold, he did test positive - or was a close contact - during the year and how his status would have come out by virtue of how the league would have treated him in response. He didn't think it through.

Apparently Rodgers committed every corner of his brain to calling audibles at the line of scrimmage and drawing penalties on the defense. There's no gray matter left for anything else.

It was obvious to anyone that knew the protocols that he was not vaccinated because he got ruled out so early. Unless he is upset the news got out about the other treatment he used and him petitioning the league for that to be approved.

It will be interesting to watch the tantrum that comes out of this. Maybe he'll demand a trade to a different football league.

Rodgers is going to continue to be killed in every corner of all forms of the media for this for likely the rest of the season. He is very sensitive about his public image, I wonder how he is going to react going forward.

Rodgers deserves whatever he gets in the media but PFT is owned by grade A douche bag Mike Florio

Yeah, Florio isn't objective in his stuff as a Vikings fan. What Rodgers did was bad, no doubt, but he's been hypocritical calling for excessive fines and etc. considering all of the unvaxxed guys on that team doing the same things regarding protocol.

You can't possibly still believe this. Florio is bad, but come on.

Eh, I will. No one was happier to post that story yesterday.

Always playing the victim.

It's why most of his relationships end so poorly, even with his own family....and eventually this team.

I agree with this.

If Rodgers were traded (this past offseason) to Minnesota I believe Florio would be blaming everyone else and taking Rodgers side. Same thing he did with Moss for most of his career.

Sucks that most of sports fandom was spent on guys like Favre, Rodgers, and MJ who are all grade A douchebags.

Hoping Giannis stays humble so I at least have that to always remember.

There was the video a few years ago of the Packers arriving at the GB airport after a game. There was a disabled woman yelling at Rodgers for an autograph and Rodgers just kept going. Florio blasted him for it. The real story is that the woman is at the airport after every road game and Rodgers stopped to talk to her many times, but not every time. Florio can pound sand.

Florio can be a total hack and yet his sources on this could be totally correct. They're not mutually exclusive.
