careful, some of his fans still attack people for saying the obvious. Westbrook can be such a trainwreck on closing possessions. You'd think they'd be happy that he finally gets to play with someone like Lebron or Rondo to spare him the burden of running final plays but nah, they're more concerned with his usage and TDs.

Russ stans using the "he isnt in his prime anymore" excuse is so pathetic. Hes still more athletic than 90% of the league at least. The garbage decision making, bricking and weak defense is something that was ALWAYS a part of his game

Lakers really did get lucky with the easiest schedule ever and haven’t taken advantage blowing two 20+ point leads vs. a team not actively looking to win. SGA took a logo heave with 18 seconds on the shot clock up by three…smh.

And what was that move by Russ leaving Dort all alone under the rim when down 2, to move towards SGA who wasn't even close to driving / getting in the paint?

Not to mention the missed 3 point contests that got OKC there in the first place.

He's just a horrible, horrible, low IQ defender.

Imagine expecting Russ to stick to his primary assignment the whole defensive possession. He doesn't even pre-rotate on normal possessions, he just drifts to the middle of the floor like he's playing 5.

Will always say OKC created a monster when they let him ignore defensive assignments to grab rebounds. Whatever was left of his already lacking discipline went into negative territory.

this is an average defensive possession for Westbrook. Abandoning players mid-possession to go walkies.

The fact that they are -8 with AD on the floor and -8.5 with Westbrook is pretty amazing. Roster construction sucks, but these two are playing below any reasonable expectation. Better now than latter, though. They need a couple of trades if they wanna be in the playoff mix
