The Thunder are designed to absolutely tank and are losing games on average by double digits. Their only win was a game where they were down by almost 30 and then the Lakers gave up. That the Clippers needed Paul George to take over the game like that to squeak out a win like that doesn't speak highly of their playoff chances, even in what looks to be a significantly weaker western conference this season.FAH1223 wrote:

Yep. Ricky is an example of hard work and getting better every year. People forget he was the MVP of the last basketball World Cup when he led Spain to victory.

Evan Mobley had 26 points, 9 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal, 1 block and just 1 turnover on 11-15 shooting. His +/- was +26. The guy is going to be so damn good.

That Murray/White backcourt combo for SA just isn't working out like some thought it would. They combined to go 5 for 29 yesterday. Gotta think they're going to trade Thad Young to a contender - he's being wasted there.

And underrated Jarrett Allen is having his best season - playing next to Mobley.

Jarrett Allen is a Wizards pick we knew was destined to be a good player. He's now better than just good. This season he might be an All Star. Brooklyn messed up letting Allen go.
Bye bye Beal.

Allen isn't under-rated, he is just on the normal development timeline for a big man with talent and now that contract is a good contract. Oh, and I am low-key still bitter about Allen not ending-up being a Wizard like many of us wanted that night.

Agreed. Allen just got a 5-year $100M contract. He's not underrated. He's in the 2nd tier of centers. He's not Embiid, Jokic, Davis or Gobert, and therefore didn't get a full max, but he is getting paid like Capela/Horford/Turner, which seems about right.

His box score is ridiculous:
50 points
9/19 from 3
13/13 from the line
.741 TS%
10 assists
7 rebounds
3 steals
1 block
only 2 turnovers.

The Hornets have lost 5 in a row after a 5-2 start had all the pundits calling them a top 6 seed in the East.

Agreed.
Jokic's response was totally appropriate and commensurate with Morris' cheap shot. If there was justice, Jokic wouldn't even miss a game.
