Brown/Tatum
Hypothetically, who would you prefer to keep on our team going forward? Explain your reasoning.
I chose Tatum. Higher ceiling and impacts the game more significantly in terms of winning imo. Also younger.

Tatum just want it on record before they lock this thread for no reason at all. He’s in completely different tier than brown and it’s not below Jaylen

Romeo Langford is the only correct answer.

Re: Brown/Tatum
Wait, where am I?
I'd go Tatum, but not so convinced I wouldn't listen to arguments against. I favor him due to size and ahead of Brown on playmaking curve at a younger age.

Thanks Brad for answering my ad,
"Boston Celtics Barbershop, cutters wanted."
But after KP, your C play? You broke my heart Fredo.

Tatum has the higher ceiling, but the lower basketball IQ. Hard to say.

Re: Brown/Tatum
Arguments for JT:
1) He's a better player.
2) He's much more durable. No major injuries
Arguments for JB:
1) More chances that he'll be a lifetime Celtic.
2) More leadership and alpha personality?

Tatum seems like more of a cavatelli guy and Brown seems like more of a fettuccine guy and I think the conclusions are obvious

Re: Brown/Tatum
Tatum, though not as much as a year ago, but even without Brown's slightly concerning injury history I'd still have to go Tatum off of ceiling. I like Brown's toughness more though, I wish Tatum would grow up a little and stop letting missed shots and no calls get inside his head.

No rings til we get a Penne lover.
I just worry truth18 is trying to divide us in a time when we should all be coming together.

This obsession with breaking up the Jays is insanity to me.

You’re all wrong. Romeo looks like a rigatoni guy, and that is why he is awesome.

I could live for years on an island full of rigatoni.

What is this island you speak of? Chris Forsberg mentioned a Nesmith island earlier today, where could he have heard that term?
Oh, if it ends up coming down to it, Tatum. Better shot creator, scorer, passer, takes better care of the ball, better bball iq, and better team defender. And he’s 23 for almost this whole season, whereas Jaylen is already 25. Jaylen definitely a better man defender, and doesn’t need to get himself into a rhythm like Tatum does, and he’s cheaper. Give me the deluxe crispy sandwich, not the value menu version.

I just want to get a sense who people prefer as a player. I left the question open ended on purpose. I'm not necessarily talking about breaking them up here, although it's fine if that's the mindset you/anyone voted in.
Let's say Jayson and Jaylen are still both Celtics 6 years from now: we can still use this thread to gauge where the board was in comparison (let's pretend realgm survives that long too). Because although I think the answer to this question is clear now, it will be quite evident then, regardless of where either are playing.
There's a scenario in which we lose both guys too on that note.

Tatum is the homemade Mac and cheese, where you use 3 different types of cheese and have bits of bacon added in. And Jaylen is Kraft Dinner.

To be fair, Kraft Mac and cheese is super slept on. When I’m stoned, it always hits the spot.
