I used to kind of feel this way but getting older and having kids has changed me. The type of people I cheer for is more important to me than the success they have. It’s why I feel so blessed to have a guy like Giannis that I can point to and tell my kids, be like him and work like him.

I hear you. It's not a simple thing. I just feel to put someone on a pedestal, for yourself or yours kids, is risky. Favre was a great role model until he wasn't. My son loved the guy.

Hopefully Giannis never lets us down.

So much this. Please just put Giannis in a time capsule right now... just let us love him forever.

Everyone on the team knew this from day one according to Rodgers. They were 7-1. Based on how pro athletes either aren’t vaxxed, didn’t want to get vaxxed or have/had Covid, I don’t think that population is going to be particularly torn up about this.

What it does do though is give Jordan Love a two game window to show his stuff. We’re going to know whether we’ve got something there or not.

Can the Bucks get rid of whatever ownership stake Rodgers has? I would prefer not to have his stink on that organization.

Hopefully, Rodgers' most contagious entity is merely his isolated Covid, and not his virulent stupidity.

The fact that this team is 7-1 is a testament to how good of a coach LaFleur is. With all the injuries and the clownshow at QB LaFleur has done an incredible job.

Internal pressure vs. External pressure. I mostly believe them when they say that the organization and players knew (now I wonder how much that played into the concessions they made for him), but now, every press conference, every interview, every microphone and reporter is gonna pepper these guys with questions about Aaron, non-stop, all the way through Super Bowl Sunday if they're lucky enough to make it that far. Whether that's gonna affect the team morale? I don't know, but it certainly becomes harder for these guys to tune it out now.

Whoever posted that Packer fan crying at the altar of Rodgers got it right. He's so f'n good on the field, like a legitimate joy & privilege to watch. Same with Brett. But it really stings seeing already SUPER privileged millionaires taking their hubris to another level & actively hurting people off the field with their actions. Football already requires a bit of ethical blindfolding, but stuff like this makes it really difficult to support the individual on the field.

You can learn quite a bit about someone just by how many catch phrases and slogans they use.

Luckily JLove seems like a normal guy. Hoping he tosses 8 tuddies out there this week

Rodger's following in Favre's footsteps by being a terrible human. The laundry list of misinformation was the worst. Still a bad decision, but just leave it as 'I was allergic to the mrna ones, and didn't feel comfortable in the J&J.' Just dump him next year to the Eagles for their 3 1sts and move on.

Barkley was right with the 'not a role model' thing, but I beg that Giannis doesn't let us down with some stupid s***.

That was Dan Le Batard. He is (was?) a huge fan of Aaron's and had him on his show many times. The fake crying, fake alter is so amazing. I can't believe the timing on it.

Hopefully, J. Love follows a similar trajectory & gives us another 15 seasons of Hall of Fame QB play before whatever hubris tower he's destined to climb begins to crumble.

Seriously, what in the Emperor Palpatine is going on with all these Green Bay QB's? Someone bring some balance to the force for crying out loud.
