Can we chill with these posts trying to dunk on other team's rookies? It just triggers these moronic back and forths and clutters up the thread with BS.
I'm pretty sure the Cavs and Raps are both VERY happy with their guys.

Re: 2021-22 NBA Rookie Thread (part 2)
Cade is now at 11 assist to 13 turnovers. I've stated back in May and June pre-draft that Cade is not a point guard prospect. While his vision is decent for his size, his passing skills (in terms of ball placement) are poor and his handles loose. He has not at any point shown that can be play PG in this league. His assist to turnover is historically bad for a point guard prospect. No successful point guard has ever been drafted with his style of sub 1 assist to turnover ratio in college.
Without that PG tag, he is just an unathletic SG/SF on a cold streak. He is an elite shooter. There is no doubt that his shot will come along.

Haha never seen this much vitriol between Cavs and Raps fans since the days of LeBron sonning the Lowry/DeFrozen Raps. Nostalgia kicking in. Oh how things have changed so much for both franchises since then.

The profile wasn’t good coming in and he’s already living up to his cons in many respects. I adore Pistons fans and the diehards have passion that is second to few. But man…the profile still isn’t good.

Yeah 18/5/2/0/2 is much better than 14/9/4/0/2![]()
Especially against a guy who came off an injury
Funny how you don't mention how Mobley did against Barnes![]()
Troll GTF outta here.
Scottie +5. Mobley -7
Also scottie had 10 rebounds. So 14-10-4-0-2
Lol at using +-‘s for a game actually watch the game. Sexton was a + yet he was worst on the floor the moment his feet entered the court lol.
Nice defense on Barnes 1v1 in the crunch wouldn’t you say?
Scottie was quiet by his standards still contributed which is fantastic for a rook.
Raptors fans need a cigar and some tea, get restless over little things lol.
Li WenWen is the GOAT

I still feel like Mobley hasn't gotten the chance to show off his playmaking yet. It's only in spurts.

Mentioning one stat wasn’t for the purpose of saying Mobley was **** and Scottie was great. It’s just a piece of the game
Scottie played a good game overall, some very impressive passes. Just hope his thumb is fine and we didn’t rush him back, cause there were several times where he was holding it throughout the game
Regardless, good game by both rooks. Both have very bright futures

I had a blast watching it lol. Finally got to watch a full Mobley game.
People too worked up over an early season game. I remember those days
Honestly, I think it'll do our team good. Our franchise has always operated best with a chip on our shoulder.

Also shoutout to Banton off the bench with 11 points (5/7), 2 rebounds, 1 assist in 9 minutes
No idea why he didn’t play more minutes considering he was doing so well, especially in the 2nd quarter
Hopefully Nurse starts giving him more minutes

The irony is Giddey is labelled as an SG. Giddey is a poor shooter but has 6.1 assists to 2.3 turn overs.
Results are results at this point.

I laughed but only because somehow anyone who actually watched that game walked away thinking Mobley was "much" better
Gets beat in nearly every statistical category except points WHICH he got giftwrapped majority of his baskets from assists or free throws (go check the tape lol - minus a single pull up) but boy does that ever solidify he's clearly superior lol pretty transparent.

Barnes’s strength is obvious. He ragdolled Jarrett Allen (who has put on a noticeable amount of muscle) like he wasn’t even there when scrumming for a loose ball.
