Well people that want him gone will likely soon get their wish. I highly doubt that Jodie will put up with this guy if he truly did these things.

I guess we'll have to see what details come out, but as I've made well-known here, I have never felt as uncomfortable rooting for Portland's success as I have the past couple years, as Olshey's character seems pretty lacking, IMO.

as ive said on general board, i see nothing that would suggest he should get fired

if there was sexual harassment or racism or physical violence, thats whole other thing, but him being an **** is not something he should get fired for, if you cant deal with your boss whos like that, then quit, no-one is forcing you to stay

I think he will be fired if there’s any truth to any of this And that’d be, of course, assuming the reports are indeed credible

if all you can judge by is Olshey's conduct in press conferences and interviews, then this 'report' would seem credible and have some legs. Of course, there are a lot of glass houses in Portland and Seattle when it comes to misconduct

I'd bet that there is little loyalty to Olshey is the Blazer organization though. Seattle has seemed to accept the job he's doing so maybe the most loyalty to Oshey is from the north. But opening this investigation suggests there could be chinks in that armor.

In before the independent investigator Olshey hires for the investigation finds nothing wrong.

I assume the name of that investigator will be "Meyers Leonard" or "Evan Turner"

the Vulcans could have fired Olshey at any point over the last 9+ seasons. They'd just have to do it without cause and pay the balance of his contract. Happens all the time

but I'd wonder if this investigation is an attempt to be able to fire him "with cause" and immediately terminate his contract...? I would imagine there's some language about toxic work environments in his contract. It's also possible they are trying to leverage Olshey into re-signing

while the notion that Olshey could be a bully and an ahole as a boss is pretty credible, it's also pretty credible that the Vulcans could fight dirty and pinch pennies

Yeah seems like a cover for sure. Which in a strange way gives me hope if they wanted to finally change it up at gm. But if they wanted him out probably should’ve just fired or mutually parted and let him deal with the media backlash from this other business

It seems that his conduct went well beyond the line, a boss that demands excellence or can be a bit of a douche at times is one thing a boss that makes a work environment a complete hell for his employees is clearly another.

Just because he wasn't casually using racial slurs or trying to **** his female employees doesn't mean that he should get off scot free.

Does this have nothing to do with Dame's playing like crap? Is this town big enough for the two of them? Also, What happens with Olshey's guy in Chauncey? Does he stay?
