I would never trade Embiid. It's much better to tank and shut him down on a minor injury like the Spurs did with Robinson when they got Duncan with the #1 pick.

I'll be keeping eyes on Orlando all year as a trade partner.

Both Terrence Ross and Gary Harris have been bad so far, though. Harris might be cooked altogether. Waiting to see if Ross can turn it around as the season keeps going.

I've been looking at Orlando too. A player like Gary Harris is intriguing for what we need. I like him, but like you said, he may be done. He hasn't really done much since 2017-18 and the guy always seems to be injured. Jalen Brunson is my personal prize at this point. It'll take Simmons to get him though.

Brunson is a quality basketball player.

Just have a few minor issues with his fit here:
1. I'm a little wary of having too many guys 6'2" and under in the rotation.
2. Up to this point, he's been a somewhat reluctant three point shooter in the NBA. You can tell he's much more comfortable scoring in an oldschool way inside the arc. Which would be okay if he was a stronger defender. But for a guy who's more of an offense-only guy, I'd much prefer him to be a bomber like he was his final year at Villanova.
3. He's on an expiring deal.

I really like Tim Hardaway. Can't be moved until the end of January, though. Would you do a trade that involved Harris/Maxey going to Dallas and Hardaway/salary/Brunson/picks coming back?

I see Hardaway as available on December 15th?

Harris and Springer to DAL for Hardaway and Powell

Is that enough for Dallas to pull the trigger?

How exactly.

He can't create offense or shoot.

Point Ingram... Jaylen Brown would be nice ... Irving would be lit if you decides to come back and resign

Embiid /Irving / Tobias / Curry > Giannis, Middleton , Jrue and Lopez.

 Yep.

TGGY. Tobias. Gotta. Go. Yesterday.

There's no way they can't trade him. Yes, they might not get a lot, but if they add some value to him they should be able to at least get a useful piece.

And also there's the whole addition by subtraction thing.

I think he's in that exception group.

There’s also a small subset of free agent signees whose trade ineligibility lasts for an extra month. These players all meet a specific set of criteria: Not only did they re-sign with their previous team this offseason, but they got a raise of at least 20%, their salary is worth more than the minimum, and their team was over the cap, using Bird or Early Bird rights to sign them.

Same with Korkmaz.

What a lame move on your part picking out the parts that support an opportunity for you to act all arrogant on a basketball forum. You left out the part where I said, he's always injured and really hasn't done much since 2017, but that's ok. I'm not sure if comprehension is really your thing, but I can get a pack of crayons and draw it out for you if you want? Gary Harris was once putting up 17 a game for Denver...Well...Back in 2017. A combo guard that is around the 6'3-6'4 range doesn't put up 17 a game without being able to shoot the basketball a little bit and create. I'm sorry, it's just unfathomable in my opinion. Otherwise we're talking about Zhaire Smith....Smith was a player that couldn't shoot and couldn't create. Being a little hard on Harris here aren't we? I think his biggest issues have been injuries, but what do I know? I'm not a fan of the first name...Gary? I've never met a nice person named Gary, but that wouldn't stop me from wanting the 2017 version of him on our basketball team. Simply put, he's probably cooked at this point.

Anyways, yea. Gary Harris sucks really badly and couldn't be further away from a need for this team.

Any version of him.

This x 1000.

I don't see it happening because he appears to be one of Doc's favorites, but it sure as hell should be explored.

Yup, Harris was a phenomenal shoot/defend prospect coming out of Michigan State. And had a nice little <200 game window where he was a three and d beast for the Nuggets. A lot of durability and confident issues persisted and then he fell off.

A post of yours I could actually get through. More of these lengths and less mania typing when addressing me, please and thanks.

Especially about mid like Gary Harris.
