Good lord. I know it's just g-league but man, he looked good out that. Shot is so money.

I might have to get my a%% to Portland for a game at some point.

Brad's first 4 moves (I think) after moving into front office were the Kemba/Horford trade, hiring Udoka, drafting Begarin and then signing Hauser as an UDFA. so far those are looking like 4 pretty damn good moves - especially being the first 4 moves in front office for a guy who had literally no prior experience in that type of role.

Damn, he looks good! Such a quick release! Already thinking how quickly we can integrate into our rotation. :D

Looking at the box score, Luke Kornet had a good line 18 points, 11 rebounds (6 offensive), and 7 assists.

Yup. Guys who can shoot like that at 6'8" usually get mins in the NBA. Plus he's 23 and will be 24 next month so it's not like he's some young kid who will need all kinds of time to develop.

Kornet belongs on an NBA roster.

Teams have either 2 or 3 centers on their active roster so roughly 75 centers on active rosters total among the 30 teams. You can't tell me there's 75 centers in the NBA better than him.

We don't have room for him on our team with rob, al, kanter and bruno. But I guarantee you, there's a team in the league who could use him for depth at center.

Kornet is a better player than Bruno.

I really don't care what Hauser did that impressed in the G league.. I know a **** shooter when I see one.. He is legit.. but the part I like more is he is not really one dimensional. he can do other things..

But this is what would happen if he got called up. Hauser misses his 3 point shots in a game or 2.. someone would say he can't shoot, back down the the G league.. :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Possibly, yes.

But Bruno is 3 years younger and way more athletic so has a higher upside..

Bruno is somewhat more gritty, too. But, Kornet can shoot the 3.
It's a toss up. Depends upon the make up of your team.

Mod or not, you add so much value to this board Parl. You're all over the place. Starting the game threads and doing a great job with that. Then contributed to the G-League thread, added things like the upcoming schedule. Much appreciated!

Another good game from Hauser with 17 points on 5-9 from 3s, 6 rebs, 2 assists and 2 steals.
Hauser is most likely the best shooter on the Celtics. The guy has been a pure shooter for years in college. Hope he gets a chance to play with the team this year and next.

It would be fun to have a bench lineup of Pritchard, Nesmith and Hauser with Rob and with Tatum or Brown, while on of Tatum and Brown is resting.

Also big games by :

Pinson with 20 points, 10 rebs, and 6 assists.
Archie with 17 points, 11 rebs, 8 assists and 3 steals.
Morgan with 18 points and 10 rebs.

Jalen Johnson should be really good for the Hawks if if works hard and doesn't take all his physical tools for granted. 19 teams past up on him. I was hoping we could have kept the 16th pick and gone with Duarte or Jalen Johnson or maybe Sengun. Duarte ended up going to the Pacers at 13 and Jalen fell to the Hawks at 20.

Hauser looks like he's shooting in an empty gym on half of his highlights. And, he has a beautiful shot, and part of being a great shooter is making it look like you're shooting in an empty gym. But still, please remind me not to put any stock into G-League stats before anyone starts wondering if Beyonce is wearing a Sam Hauser jersey:)

Maine Celtics looking very good. Kornet also played well in addition to the players you mentioned. I would like to find a place on the team for Pinson, Archie, and Hauser. If it means getting rid of some end of benchers, I say do it. Those guys can help us. Perhaps a trade can help clear space. What could Nesmith and Pritchard bring back? Too, I would rather have Kornet on the team than Fernando.
