League's worst team is a perfect opponent for the Nuggets to take some breath and regroup after the lazy start of the season.

Houston somehow leads at halftime, but still, it should be a routine home win anyway, with Jokic and defense being more involved and bench more seriously taking their duties. The real reason for worry is not another disappointing half but what happened with MPJ in 1st half. Malone's crazy plan to make of the Porter defensive specialist works so far this season (I want old MPJ back!) but even as a defensive specialist we need him very much, and especially I don't like to hear he has a problem with his back.

Nuggets for some reason always suck in early games, last year too, whenever I could watch a game before midnight it was almost guaranteed loss. Fingers crossed everything is ok with MPJ.

A lucky home win against the team in 13 road game losing streak (7th overall)

But a win is a win, and if MPJ is OK, I'm ready to forget this pathetic game immediately.

On a positive note nice to see Jokic's ability to produce 28-14 even without much effort. Barton and Hyland are the Nuggets' most motivated players this season so far. Bones has his worst game today but Barton was very good in the 1st half and was the #1 playmaking option in Denver today. Facu is struggling this season but scored important two 3-pointers in the middle of the 2nd half while Aaron Gordon was offensively invisible whole the game until the final two minutes where he saved Nuggets of humiliation with two key back-to-back threes.
