yeah, but what did you expect? 2 teams got rid of him in the summer and we got him for cheap money. I think we have to dial back a little with our expectations. If you have a decent offensive guard for 60 games... that is fair value for 8 million.

Hopefully he starts Alec to spread the floor and keeps Derrick on the bench to run the offense for the 2nd unit. More minutes for RJ and possibly IQ if he doesn't suck. Interested to see how much better we defend without Kem out there bleeding points every possession

Tbh I expected this. I’ve been saying he was washed since the playoffs. Nothing has changed. His defense is worse than I thought it would be though. Like way worse

Knicks can play this any number of ways.
Heck Fournier could play pointguard but I think the simplest way is probably get IQ to start .

It was obvious he would sit today or tomorrow night and better tonight against a faster backcourt. This was clear when we signed him on back to backs - it’s not sad it’s wise.

kemba is definitely washed in that you can't expect him to put up 15/5

but he's still good for a game once a week where he simply will take over and win. That's just not something IQ/Burks or any of our other bench guys can do.
