we really miss Brogdon. his absence moves TJ up which is okay and Wannamaker up which is not.

7 minutes into second quarter Kings finally take the lead. I really figured they’d run us to death by now lol. Pacers starting unit played well, reserves not so well.

a road win. big lineup made a nice run in 4th but foul trouble made it close.

Without the foul trouble I’m guessing we would have seen more of the 2 big lineup tonight. As it was by my math the 2 big lineup was only used 18 minutes. Maybe the slower pace works better if we are trying to play with 2 bigs? Myles was really big at the defensive end. To me he was the most impactful guy on the floor. Seemed like an awful lot of our offense was Levert isolating and taking a lot of low percentage shots.

In my opinion Myles was the reason they won. Regardless of 2 questionable foul calls his energy, timely offense, and defense including rebounding was huge.

The half court glow it down game plan Carlisle implemented was also a reason why the Pacers were able to keep the Kings out of their fast paced comfort zone.

Also his second half plan isolating LeVert to get him scoring repeatedly worked as he could shoot over his defender and get to the lane for fouls.

Another thing I’m sure the coaches knew is that Fox has been in a funk to start the season and is only effective shooting close in shots going 7-19 tonight so they defensively covered Hield, Barnes, and Halliburton as much as possible to force Fox and others to shoot.

I thought tonight Sabonis and Turner won the front line battle vs Len and Holmes out rebounding them 25-14. Pacers as a team out rebounded Kings 54-33. Kings 37% shooting vs. Pacers 45%shooting also key.

Great job of getting a win although the bench wasn’t as helpful tonight as in other contests.

I’m banking on a hard fought victory in Denver as they’re undermanned somewhat and hopefully the Pacers can execute a game plan to again let Denver’s lesser shooters gun away. Porter Jr. in a terrible funk to start the season. Utah will be harder to beat as they’re a more complete team.

Glad to see they can still at least handle the Kings

Watching the highlights on youtube, and the King's announcers after Duarte hit a pull up jumper said "are we sure he's a rookie? he doens't look like one" lol.

announcers said they beat us both times last year so this isn't "still."

I may have some trauma induced memory loss from watching last year's team. Did it really happen?

looks like we may have two games this week against teams missing a key player.

I have this theory, if all players are healthy, and you remove the best player from every team in the league and replace him with some random FA, Pacers might end up with one of the strongest team left

Just looking at the Eastern conference, Sixers without Embiid is meh. Celtics without Tatum is meh. Bucks without Giannis is double meh. Nets without KD is weaker version of Harden's Rockets. Everyone else is a lotto team

Pacers without Sabonis, meanwhile, barely gets affected too much I feel, if everyone else is healthy

one could make a case that we are missing our best player - Warren.
