This was my biggest worry. And people were assuming Pascal coming back was going to be a positive immediately. Not a chance. The guy still needs to get acclimated to playing with new players and his fitness. He looked slow on so many defensive rotations today that burned us. His offense has looked very much like Tampa offense. Missing easy shots around the rim.

I wouldn't be surprised if we lose a bunch of games while he tries to figure things out. I hope I'm wrong.

Would be nice if Barnes was more of a focus on the offensive end.

Of course the day after I praise Nurse for his incredible coaching so far he comes up with this garbage game. Terrible lineups in the second half, let the Nets get off to a 9-0 run before calling a timeout, awful use of a challenge, overplaying the **** out of Svi while Scottie sits on the bench for most of the 4th, etc.

Nets have played about as well of a game as they can aside from Harden going 1/8 on 3FGA, but this loss largely feels on Nurse and our porous defence in the 3rd.

Offensively Barnes has been non-existent today

I don't know if I'd blame it on Siakam but it's probably the thing that I question about this team the most - Can Scottie and Siakam co exist?

What are you supposed to do as a guy who plays a team game when the rest of the team basically shoots after one pass?

it's brutal. Scottie makes an initial pass and never gets it back. If Scottie gets the ball everyone around him just stops moving, no cuts, nothing.
