Mobley is a basketball genius on both ends of the court. Just makes the correct read play after play after play. He's doing this as a rookie 10 games into his career. The raw stats don't even do him justice, he is impacting winning at a level I can't remember a rookie doing in a long, long time. Insane to see.

He's very clearly going to be a Duncan/KG/AD level player.

The way Scottie plays its designed for the brightest lights and the highest stages. Just give him the ball and stay out of his way.

The fact Scottie has managed to play as well as he has while literally playing with a handicap (having no real PG to help him) is insanely impressive

Imagine what Barnes could’ve been doing with a true PG right now

That high unassisted rate is a good thing for Barnes in the long run. He needs to develop that Kawhi level iso ability, by getting reps now. Getting fed buckets isn't a skill

I’ve been trying to think of who’s a young(ish) PG who’s pass first and I can’t seem to think of any who are realistically attainable. And no, not Ben lol

I saw people low key throwing shade at him after they beat us and it was like... Welp. I saw a star player. Don't know if he has the athletic ability to be KG or AD but he's at least going to be Bosh good.

I've only occasionally seen OG pass to him. Fred and Trent will always look him off and take the shot instead.

He's way smarter than KG and Bosh. I got **** for comparing him to Duncan before the draft, but he definitely gives off Duncan vibes.

He's elevated everyone on that team, even though he's shot poorly himself so far. Almost everyone is having a career year next to him.

Dude is a top-3 PG of the past decade after Steph and CP3.

Yeah thought of Giddey but he’s probably off the table, plus he’s his own development project himself lol. Need someone who can help Scottie right now

Lonzo would’ve been a really good Free agent signing for us

I’d give up anyone on the roster (aside from Barnes ofc) to get Dejounte Murray. He fits the team identity perfectly and actually passes well too. Unfortunately he’s completely breaking out now so he’s unattainable

He got so many guys paid. From Biz to Birch. Truly the most under appreciated player in the past decade

We make things difficult for Barnes cause he has to hustle for all his baskets and create everything himself

It's frustrating to watch honestly.

Nick Nurse does say he wants him to take more shots so i dunno what the deal is

The personnel is the problem.

Barnes is going to be a special player but he doesn’t really doesn’t have go to moves right now to iso. Starting in the 3rd he tried posting up but he didn’t go anywhere.
Patience is required and no doubt he will get better but foul trouble limited him today.

It's on Nurse as well, he doesn't have a disciplined offence system. He's a savant on the defence end but Lowry had been carrying him and the team when it comes to any semblance of an offensive system

This is also a good point, he seems to be very slow laterally. Can't really take anyone off dribble unless they're slow as molasses.
