Beal. Fourth quarter woash aside, he was clearly the POTG. Followed by Kuz, Deni, and Harrell.

BUT

Deni was huge and Gafford was very, very good.

Deni gets my vote. Giannis didn’t win the game for them and he was the biggest reason
Making extreme statements like "only" sounds like there are "no" Jokics in this draft? Jokic is an engine that was drafted in the 2nd round. Always a chance to see diamond dropped by sloppy burgular after a theft.

Beal can have a bunch of TOs and still be best player, and later in the year, he will routinely be best player, but he started slow this year, and other players are making themselves known while he presumably returns to form. I'm going with Avdija, not only for his individual performance on defense, but because it increasingly looks like he is inspiring team defensive intensity. He and Gafford (who had 3rd behind Beal) and KCP are helping the team find a real defensive identity.

Beal seems to be finding his groove, and 7-3 doesn't really look like a fluke based on one player's hot shooting but a reflection of a vastly improved team that may have 5-6 players get POTG before their best player wins even one.

Beal. Deni was huge on defense though.

Beal played well despite having the annoying turnovers. I vote for Deni our defensive rock!

Beal was cooking. Yeah, Deni played well on defense and got rebounds but you can't ignore how well Big Panda played despite the turnovers.

Cool that they had Bobby D night vs the Bucks - the other team he won a World Championship with.

I thought Brad had an inspirational game.

Definitely Beal.

He had two short stretches (one in the 1st and one late in the 4th) where he made a bunch of bad turnovers. But for the other 32 or so minutes he was on the court, he was damn near flawless - always making the right choice between passing or shooting. In a game where nobody else really got it rolling (except for Kuzma in the first 3 minutes of action), Beal carried the offensive burden against an exceptional defensive team.

Yeah i voted for Beal in spite of the turnovers. In earlier games he was in chuck mode. Looked like he was more concerned with piling up points than winning games.

Now he is trying to play the right way but he is just not a natural playmaker. He has played most of his career as an off ball scorer. He just doesn't have a lot of experience or success being a playmaker.

Looked to me like he was just holding the ball too long. Guys like Trae, Luka, Lebron etc can hold the ball and be successful. Beal's handles and court awareness aren't on that level. The longer he holds the ball the more the odds shift in favor of the defense. He needs to be more decisive with the ball.

Nice that he had a big scoring game when we needed it.

Interesting that he said the Bullets was the better Championship team he was on - considering he played with Kareem and Oscar.

Btw, they really should have had a microphone when Ted gave Bobby D some kind of award or present. That looked weird.

For some reason this just registered upon watching this for the 3rd time, why did the Bucks double Deni?
