I don’t think the 76ers have much leverage here. I think they’d take whatever they could as long as the contracts weren’t bad. Just to get off his deal.

I think the Celtics could use a guy like Ben but I can't imagine giving up Brown to get him. Celtics don't have enough shooting as it is, if you replace one of the best ones with a nonshooter like Ben it's going to be even more of an issue.

I'm also curious about the agent part of this. Klutch steered AD really far away from Boston, I can't imagine they want one of their major clients going to Boston now.

I think Klutch wants its 10% however it can get it. Right now, Simmons isn't being paid.

Boston AND philly would scare me if they traded Simmons for Brown....although i think he and Harris are sort of redundant

Hard to see it being for Brown or Tatum, and hard to see Philly taking a deal for anything else.

Sixers and Celtics are awful trade partners. Same division and neither is going to want to feel like the other go the better deal. My guess is Ben gets shipped out west somewhere. No way is Jaylen on the table. And if Jaylen isn't on the table then Ben Simmons isn't going to Boston. Celtics aren't getting him for a Smart/Horford package.

All due respect, have you missed the last 6 months of discussion about this? It's been the most talked about thing here in that time, and the idea that the Sixers want to dump Simmons for expirings and filler hasn't even been a distant possbility at any point in that discussion.

Simmons without any of the baggage is easily worth Brown.

Problem is,his value is so low the Celtics couldn't pass that past the fanbase despite the potential upside. If it goes wrong that's career killing.

Nothing else on the Celtics roster makes sense for Philly.

If it happens, it'll be Brown. My betting is that it doesn't.

Only way I can see Brown getting traded for Simmons is if the Sixers are attaching other stuff with it... but probably more important that the Celtics have kept 'in-house' some **** going between Brown and Tatum and know that at some point that is going BLOW UP and they are going to try to pre-empt the massive blow-up.

The thing is I don't see how Ben Simmons 'mental health' becomes better playing in front of CELTICS FANS instead of Sixers fans.

how much would philly have to add to get it done? its not like they dont have attractive assets
