I have a hard time seeing how total points +/- for 3 man lineups could benefit from someone shooting less. Currently (12/7), Batum is in the top unit there. I'm a lot less sure what is going on behind the 82 games stats though.

miles stll rockng a pathetic -14.5 net rtg for the season (next worse rotation guys - zeller -9.5, terry -9.3)

The information comes from Basketball Reference.

The latest stats show that Rozier appears in all of the six worst three-man lineups (minimum 50 minutes). Rozier and Bacon, Rozier and Bridges do not work on the court together. Note that these stats are cumulative, not per 48 minutes, so they are skewed towards guys who have played more minutes together & doing well, or doing poorly.

Malik Monk appears in five of the top six lineups, Graham in four. In the top twenty, Graham features in twelve of the best, Monk and Batum in nine apiece.

In the two-man lineups, Graham plays best with Batum, Washington, Monk, and Martin.

None of which goes to say what is the best close-out lineup. I think the coach and fans are still searching.

i posted in blazers gt, but felt it was worthy to post again

we are one of the worst 1st half teams in league.
1st half we are worst in league def team, 3rd worst in net rating
1st half def rating is 121.9

we are the best 2nd half team in the league
2nd we are 5th best def rating- 98.3, best net in league by a lot, + 24

what gives? how can these two extremes exist? which is closer to our true rating?

Probably in the middle.

We're young team that gets smacked around in the first half, then when the opponent is tired in the 2nd half we run them to death.

The double-edged sword of being a young team.

anyone surprised to know we are worst in league in opponent fg% at rim - 69.2%.... at least frequency wise we are 8th best in not allowing shots at rim.... probably because we give up wide open 3s lol.

3rd most allowed shots from 24ft+, 11th in fg% on 3s

to recap... we give up a ton of 3s, most are wide open and of the easist kind... corner 3s. we've been lucky that teams are only making league avg amount on these wide open shots.

teams dont shot much at the rim, but when they do we are terrible at stopping.
