Defense is optional every night with Walton as the coach.

There is no doubt that this team has improved. The problem is they are only as strong as their weakest links. Right now Fox isn't playing terribly well, but its also on the rest of the team to step up. The coaching is horrible, Mo Harkless is one of the worst starters in the NBA (and I like him).

A family member of mine pointed out how often the back door cuts have been open this year, meanwhile nobody ever moves. That is 100% coaching "stay in your corner". Offense gets stagnant waiting for Fox/Barnes to do something.

I already wrote this year off considering they were unwilling to eat the cost of Waltons contract. Really hoping that gets corrected next offseason.
