Fields has looked great in the 2nd half. Great drive by him.

Amazing what chipping DEs and helping the offensive line will do.

I'm in shock over that ending. One foot away from coming back to win it. Unbelievable. Best Bears game all season by far.

They could have thrown flags all year for hits on Justin. But yes, typical undisciplined

Field always could have played better with a pocket. But he was very confident and sharp. It looks as if he likes playing a 3-4 D

Justin is the truth. Jenkins comes back after the bye.

The Bears are a very undisciplined football team starts with coaching

All that matters is Justin's development. That said, I still wanted that win.

Things are going to look a lot different in a few years after some changes. Justin taking steps forward is a win. (Even with some **** calls maybe costing us an actual win in the moment.)

Just finished the dvr (glad I prioritized the better Chicago team). And GG officials, hometown cooking at its finest.

But WTF was Nagy thinking kicking a 66 yarder over a hail mary try? Zero confidence in the O line to hold them off long enough to get to the end zone? It's like taking the 0% option over the 1% option. Sure they both suck as options, but what in the world gave them the belief that 66 was possible for Santos in those conditions?? Hail Mary passes have happened way more than 66 yard field goals.

66 yarder in Pittsburgh nevertheless. 10 yards longer than the longest ever there. lol, not happening.

Whatever, Nagy is gunna be gone and we have a franchise QB. Mooney and Kmet had themselves a day, Borom had a tough one going up against JJ Watt in Pittsburgh but I like the kid.

Justin, Monty, Roquan, Jaylon, Mooney, Herbert, Kmet, Borom and Jenkins. We can roll with these boys for a minute, that's the makings of a special foundation and it all starts with JF1. He's only going to get better.

JF clutch gene is on display today. We are one off-season away from completing our offense rebuilt especially if JF Jenkin and Borom prove to be good.

Nevertheless, Nagy needs to be fired for not knowing how to use a dual threat QB.

The fact that Santos was so close to hitting that really underscores how freaking good he is. Sucks to see his streak of 40 straight makes end that way.

Good show by Fields and Mooney. I think the NFL really needs to evaluate how they treat "running or fast" QBs-Harbaugh already lodged a complain re: Jackson which I bet no doubt has a lot of merit--after seeing a small sampling on our end. There is a massive disparity in roughing calls / cheap-ish shots allowed on mobile guys and they need to make it a point of emphasis. If a guy gives himself up--no more than a step--and he better be pulling up. I've seen Mr. "I'm immunized" get a ton of cheap flags for far, far less contact.

Old article but I have not seen any evidence of a change.

On the slide--it was poorly executed but that hit should have been a fine and penalty. And If the guy executes the slide poorly, and they let the D nail him anyway--give him forward progress--I mean WTF.

Fields is poised if nothing--and its great to see flashes--a potential game winning was something I craved and last night went away very satisfied. Still a lot of work--but I'm seeing stuff I never saw in Mitch. Peak Mitch I saw could be a serviceable guy if he could manage the game. Peak Justin (and its early) I see a game breaker-someone who might be able to ruin another teams day no matter what they do. I don't want to speculate more than that but I think with better coaching and play calling fits--he might be even more.

And yes the penalties are horrible (always have been)--this is why I want a CEO coach--that culture/discipline and not making dumb mistakes and doing small things right--that needs to come from the top.

That was a very entertaining game. I didn't even mind that much that they lost. That's all I ask for a team in a semi-rebuilding mode- at least be fun to watch, a team you want to root for. They showed so much heart last night- coming back from a big deficit, overcoming all those bad calls, on the road.

Fields was huge. He finally started to play with confidence. His deep throws were accurate, even the one he missed to Godwin or Mooney was just out of reach. A lot of growth from him.

They looked like a team that was playing for each other last night. The defense was making big stops, and the offense was putting points on the board. If not for some of the miscues which gave PIT short fields on 3 or 4 occasions, the Bears win this one.

Even that last drive looked like it was well thought out and almost worked. I was also thinking- what are you doing, kicking a fg that was 10 yards longer than his career long. But then he damn near made it! And it was right down the middle. That would have been some ending. Obviously Nagy and the special teams guys knew Santos had it in him, or they wouldnt have tried it. They must have seen him make those, or at least come close in practice.

Anyway, it was a good football game.
