It stinks the reigning MVP will have to miss some games, but someone had to do it. Those Morris twins have a reputation for a reason and I'm glad someone stood up to those goons. Hopefully that's the end of it though, because the Jokic Brothers would absolutely murder someone over something small like this lmao.

Yeah, I think the Jokic brothers are well beyond what most of these guys think they're dealing with. They're ceiling is not schoolyard ****.

Morris slammed into the side of his knee too. Heat are so unlikeable outside of Bam

If I was a Lakers' fan, I'd be way madder about letting Caruso walk than I am as a Bucks' fan for letting PJ walk.

Jrue and Donte are gonna make Fat Harden cry if we end up facing them in the playoffs again.

Jokic brothers are pieces of **** and has done even worse than the Morris twins. They don’t deserve any praise or encouragement but they get it because they don’t fit the mold of “thugs” and “gangster” people are used to.

The nba should be investigating this and should be banning those two from games if they have to threaten a literal nba player everytime their 300 lb brother gets into a shoving match (suns).

It’s plenty nba players with family members that would take it way past basketball over a scuffle on the court, I don’t think this type of stuff should be encouraged at all.

If it wasn’t for all the other eye-catching things that Jokic does on a basketball court, the thing he’d be most associated with would be the following sequence: Jokic attempts to grab a rebound or score in the paint; he loses the ball in a way that makes him think he was fouled; the referee does not call a foul; Jokic immediately sprints towards his nearest opponent and just whacks the guy as hard as he can with his big, floppy arms; the referee calls a foul on Jokic, who proceeds to scream at the ref. That exact series of events happens all the time. It happens in regular-season games, playoff games, preseason games, any game of basketball that Nikola Jokic is involved in.

Most of the time, it is easy enough to write off these little fits as a relatively harmless quirk in Jokic’s personality, the one thing about himself that he doesn’t have absolute control over when he’s on the court. It is not so easy to laugh off last night’s iteration of the Jokic Tantrum, which left Markieff Morris so jacked up that a stretcher was brought onto the floor (Morris eventually got up and walked off under his own power):

Do think he needs to take a hard look at himself in the mirror when it comes to managing his anger on the court, but nah, this ain't it. Kieff is a dirtbag and that entire Heat squad (save for my guys BAM! and PJ) exudes some of the most serious Beta Fake Tough-Guy energy I've ever seen on a basketball court. The stretcher and standing outside the locker room bits were embarrassing. They deserve all the mockery.

Sure they do. Loud, tatted, threatening, intimidating, menacing. Thugs. But I don't really care about real or fake goon family members or friends. And obviously nobody should be breaking legs or worse over a game. What I do know is that Markieff Morris is a cheap shot artist on the basketball court. And deserved every bit of that 300lb Joker induced whiplash.

He did and that’s fine, it should end with fines and suspensions. The Jokic brothers have nothing to do with it, and the way fans and sites(front page of espn) are getting hyped and excited over them threatening an nba player is stupid to me.

It's hard to feel any sympathy for the Morris Twins. They have been bullies on and off the court for quite some time. That being said, I don't think people are praising the Jokic brothers either. And if they are, they shouldn't be. Everyone in this situation needs to take a chill pill. Including Nikola himself. It's just amusing trying to see Morris try to punk someone on the court (a familiar occurrence) and it backfiring on him because he did it to another, bigger bully.

Oh yeah, got it. Its all stupid. The Heat going to the Nuggets' locker room to "settle" something. Fans wishing for a royal rumble of sorts. I should clarify I'm #TeamNikola not #TeamJokic.

If Harden focused on being strong with the ball and trying to shoot/pass/dribble instead of being weak with the ball and relying on foul calls, he'd be fine even in his deteriorated physical state. He's not getting these calls not because there's no contact but because he's deliberately losing control of the ball to get the call.

He's not wrong that Jokic is a hothead and it's not good, but I subtracted all the points for the last bit of evidence, which was that Markieff pretended to be injured well enough to summon emergency services that he did not actually need.
