I beg to differ. Name a scrub who won an MVP? though NBA should have never rewarded him with an MVP but he was no scrub.

his over-reliance of athleticism makes it look like he's getting dumber out there, which I agree.

in his "prime" during the MVP year, when RWB was only 28 yrs old, homie shot 42% from the field. that's allen iverson numbers. inefficient chucker.

and if you remember, he was stat padding for rebounds (still does that today with the lakers).

NBA and media should not celebrate random stats like triple double.

I do think accumulative stats are important if collected with good efficiency, but if a player is averaging 10 assists while committing 5 TOs and totally disrupting the flow of the offense, making it very predictable to defend, then it's a detriment to the team success.

As I've said before, at one point Russ's incredible motor and athleticism could overcome his flaws and he was a net positive player (not by a huge margin however). But those days are long gone and his refusal/inability to adapt his game has made him a comedy show.

2014-15 szn and somewhere around there. KD only played 27 games due to injury (probably a broken foot).

Russ' advanced stats suggest he was definitely net positive.
