And this will bring more spotlight on the NBA to do more to stop the Morris brothers from continued cheap shots, especially when someone like Jokic finally snaps. We keep talking about the Morris twins "history of cheap shots". well, until more things like this happen, that "history" will just continue.

That just doesn't work. It just makes yourself feel better and hey, if it does then cool you do you but Morris won't stop until the NBA suspend him properly or take significant money away. People like that don't give a damn about perception.

i explained exactly that. maybe you didnt read beyond that sentence

Yeah, they got what they deserve, but is it punishment enough from the league? For me,, not even.

Guys like PatBev,Bowen, Zaza,Morris twins deserves the stiffest penalties for trying to end basketball careers with their cheapshots.

But on more serious note, I can understand Jokić and why he reacted that way, but it just reveals that he can be provoked enough to snap and find himself out of the game. Teams might take note and employ that tactic when it matters.

The league’s going to have a problem if teams think they can get away with having their players throw running elbows at opposing stars.
Remember when Kobe elbowed Jameer in the chin so hard Jameer was knocked down and sent skidding across the floor?

People pay way to much attention to lineups net rating after hardly 10% of season gone and because sample size is mostly 100-150 min it's very, very missleading.

Clippers and Suns have 8-3 and 7'-4 record. CLippers in particular, won 6 in a row. Despite that, their starting 5s are net negative (actually among worst).

Knicks sit at 7-6 record. They are fine. There is clear anomaly with their defense and offense ( top 5 offense, top 5 worst defense), but that's why looking too much into advance stats on small sample size is waste of time. They have Orlando, Indiana and Houston nexxt, by the end of week they will sit at probably 10-6 record and their advanced stats will look nothing like they do today. Because ,well 3 games sample size will make 20% of sample.

Cole and Ross dominated the Knicks the last game we played, so no win is guaranteed for them.

Toppin and Quickley dominated Magic game before, what's the point? It's regular season, very early stage. Most teams don't even have set rotations.

Was hoping that Cam Reddish would blow up but he still hasn't, don't know if he ever will.

So... Kuminga has been good for GSW huh? Also, OPJ looks really washed. The two vets we had gotten in trade , OPJ and GH , really has no value except as expiring.

Demar DeRozan to RealGM geniuses: "you know where to stick your advanced stats. I win games. Bite Me!"

Good basketball player. Period.

He actually shoots 3s now... In season where he wasn't shy away from 3 point line, Raptors won 59 games.
More suprising thing about him is that he actually can play defense.

Offensive FG% is by far the best indicator of Ws so far this season. It is amazing how clear this is.
Example: Warriors-1, Wizards-2, Suns-3, Heat-4, and Nets-5.

p.s. Orlando is 27th in the league in FG%.

None of this "play defense" malarky; to win in today's NBA a team needs shooters.

Warriors have the number 1 defense, the Wizards are 4th, Bulls 5th, Suns 6th. So defense still matters a lot, obviously.

I always feel like its easier to get a good scoring team to play better defense than it is to get a good defensive team to score better. If you are scoring better the other team is taking the ball out allowing the defense better chance to set a defense, the other team has the pressure to keep up and start panicking, going iso and leaving out team play, etc.
