Nah it’s pretty obvious haha. OG is our best 3 point shooter.

They might give us fits on Thursday, especially with Drummond dominating Ach.

Would ATL get desperate and trade Onyeka Okongwu for some win now pieces?

Boucher, Flynn and a 1st?

He's the type of center we need.

how are they win now pieces? Boucher sucks.

I think any conversation in regards to trading for KAT begins and stops at Barnes. I'd rather be patient and roll with Barnes.

Siakam to Atlanta seems interesting. They’ve started off the season quite poorly (4-8) and have plenty of interesting young assets

Something to keep an eye on if they continue to struggle

problem with that is the Masai, Nurse are trying to win now too through all of the development and all. I think Masai feel a lot more comfortable with Siakam than those guys. we already have a glut of decent players and all those guys are also around the same tier.

it would have to be an overwhelming deal for Masai to move Siakam. at least 2 first rounders and 1 promising young player for Siakam. otherwise I think Masai is going to see this team through with the lengthy players we have.

ya Gallo is having his worse year so far and Trae is not eficient, probably due to hunting down fouls rather than trying to score.

Ya. I get that. I just think there 'might' be too much duplication with Siakam, OG and Barnes. In my opinion these guys are all 3/4's.

I get that there is 48 minutes to be filled per each forward slot (not to mention injuries), but it might make more sense to slant those assets to a 2/3 (Reddish) and a 5/4 (Okongwu). With a prospect 3/4 (Jalen Johnson) also coming back.

I know you know this, but this is essentially the value you stated.

Reddish (10th overall 3yrs ago - promising young player)
Okongwu (6th overall last yr - def still worth a 1st)
Jalen Johnson ( 21st this year - def still valued as a 1st)

Gallo is salary ballast, and Boucher is there to cover his loss. Watanabe is there to match players, pretty much no time for him after the trade.

I think all 3 actually have star level potential. Granted, Siakam is a fully realized 2-way star level player tho, so likely better to have the bird in hand.

3 for 4 trade is not what they should be doing. Need to consolidate.

Yeah I don't think they'd want him either. Even if that's all it took, I'm not sure we're that much better after making that swap.

Were infinitely better. Towns would immediately become our best shooter at a position where spacing can be an absolute game changer.

I don’t believe he is a bad defender either. Minnesota is just a dumpster fire.

I don't believe he's a bad defender either. KAT is one of my fav players in the league.

It's just that in order to become legit contenders again, we'd need to pair the two. Adding KAT and losing Siakam makes us a perennial playoff team but I'm not sure it makes us championship material.

KAT > Siakam tho, so if we could get KAT and only sacrifice Siakam you do that 10/10 times
What an absolute failure and disaster this franchise is, ran by one of the most incompetent front offices in the league.

Totally agree. But it's for that reason exactly that the deal would never be Siakam for KAT straight up

If Siakam is getting traded, these three teams might want him: Warriors, Bulls and Hawks

Young players we could get back:

Warriors: Kuminga, Moody, Wiseman
Hawks: Reddish,Onyeka,Johnson
Bulls: PWill,Coby

Bagley situation in Sacramento is getting worse as time goes on. He’s still just 22 and Sacramento sucks at player development, so I think he’s still worth a shot

I wonder if they’d do Flynn + Boucher for Bagley and maybe a 2nd

Right now it’s tough to trade Pascal for a good return. He’s overpaid and his last 2 years have decreased his trade value.

That said I agree with the last 2 teams that you listed are worth monitoring. Atlanta is underperforming right now relative to last year. Chicago needs a 4 but matching salary would be tough and they probably don’t want to take on Pascal contract.

Warriors are rolling right now with one of the best offensive/defensive ratings. I think they’ll just wait for Klay to come back.

Celtics fan here. I bet the Celtics would love to trade for Siakam as long as Tatum and Brown are off the table.

Players you could get back (feel free to add pick(s) as well):

Robert Williams: Elite rim protector. Amazing physical tools. One of the best rim runners in the NBA. He has more field goals from alleyoops this season than 25 other teams. No 3pt range, but decent mid-range jumper. Willing passer. Can't put the ball on the floor to save his life.

Smart: Arguably the second most versatile/switchable guard defender in the NBA behind only Ben Simmons (who ain't exactly a guard to begin with). I reckon he'd be a terrific fit on the Raps defense. You guys are loaded with switchable defenders. He's a reliable PnR ball handler as well. Streaky shooter. Shot selection is an ongoing issue.

Nesmith: 3+D wing. He rarely puts the ball on the floor.

Langford: Can do a little bit of everything. Very good defender. Decent slasher, ball handler and passer. His shooting numbers are eye-catching this season. Not sure whether they are sustainable.

Pritchard: Impressive ball handling skills. Very good shooter with deep range. Undersized. Lacks the athleticism to consistently beat his opponent 1-on-1. Very limited team defender.

Salary fillers:

Josh Richardson: Swiss-army-knife type of wing. Can do a little bit of everything. Excels at nothing. A vet version of Langford.

Hernangomez: practically an expiring cause his contract is non-guaranteed for next season

Just saw this...... I'm not even sure I'd want Bagley after those antics. Definitely not worth sacrificing Flynn.

Bagley refusing to check in, only to see Sacramento spark a huge comeback vs Phoenix with Metu and Damion Jones made Bagley look even worse now.

Like Julian Wright refusing to check in with us, only to end up dominating in a league like CBA. That's Bagley's future.
