Yeah not sure how I feel about this one. Finally we get to play a home game, but I feel like we’re due for a loss with this short rotation.

Isaac has had some success defending Beal in the past, it's a good time to get him back.
Fair to say that coming off a 22-win season, that every game is a "trap game".

Just going to sit back and enjoy this team playing hard and being entertaining. No game is given, but I’m starting to build up hope that they won’t be picking top-5 this year!!!

For who? I can't imagine the Cavs were favored here.

Is Tacko available? Might be good to throw him out there when Harrell is going off. A couple hard fouls will knock him down a peg.

Good defense by the Cavs but complete lack offense in SF position when the teams are focusing on Mobley and Allen more is kinda showing. Love and Markkanen should be coming back next week unless they got issues from their covid.
Wade played 27min and took 2 shots. Just not going to cut it.

When you're up by two with less than a minute left, you can't give up the three. You really can't give up the three to the guy who's been killing you from 3 all night. And, you really, really can't do those two things with Garland on the bench because it forecloses the possibility of going right back at them before they set their defense.
Oh well, it's a young team.

Going to chalk that one up to bad preparation. Oh well

Sometimes the sting that accompanies the L is the only instructor a young team hears.

Good game regardless of outcome. Cavs we’re gassed at the end and Wade, Stevens playing that many minutes is never going to be a good thing. Hopefully Kevin and Lauri are back soon.

Bingo, Mobley left Kuzma to help with Beal who could have only tied the game. I doubt he makes that mistake again. Rubio was too little and too late to contest
JBB also blew through our timeouts. Young teams need them, but he could had contested the out of bound off Mobley call, or used it to get Rubio off the floor and use an all big defensive group.
But Rubio missing that free throw hurt, and that defense from Stevens and Okoro was great, but we need more offense from our SG.

Yeah, we need more points out of either the SG or SF position. Lauri coming back should help. Even Love getting us additional spacing off the bench should help. But right now, I don't trust Cedi, Windler, and Wade to consistently hit their shots.

My fb friend was heckling Kuzma all night and Kuzma clapped back in the post game. He had a sign that said something like “LeBron got Kuzma his ring”. Kuzma did sign it after the game.

Wow, maybe he should have been nicer to him. Kuzma is having a nice season so far, perhaps another case of a player coming in to his own closer to his prime and on his second team. Would had been nice if we could have had Lauri to counter him.

It depends on what you mean by "consistently", but Cedi and Windler are both well over 40% on the year. I'm not sure if you just want to see it over a longer period of time or if you're overreacting to a 2-7 night between them.
I don't expect any one player to take on Collin's scoring load, though, unless we make a deal.

We're maybe 10 points short of what we would have expected if Collin was healthy and Lauri and Love could make up that difference, or otoh, we can hope to get a little more out of Wade, Windler, Okoro, and Stevens than 14 pts. I mean Stevens was the high scorer of that group with 6pts? Just 5 points in total from our starting SG and SF?
That's pathetic.
