I dont mind trading Maxey. But Ben and Maxey for Dame looks like an overpay right now. This issue with Dame’s struggles is becoming serious as it continues.

If your issue is we lack a guy who can take and make shots down the stretch, then get someone who can make them on low volumes which is waayy cheaper than Dame

This guy costs us our last 4 years in the playoffs

2018 = TJ had to play PG
2019 = Dunker spot Ben
2020 = Injury didnt play
2021 = Error 404

lol

Before Simmons turned up, we had won 38 games in 2 years

Rookie Simmons would drag sorry arse teams to the playoffs let alone DPOY version

Do we really need to dredge up Simmons failures or would you like me to point out that Joel has been every bit as bad?

How about we concentrate on the future?

Joel has been bad but Ben has been unplayable.

And its so CLEARLY evident with how worse we are without Biid and how much better we are without Ben.

*im referring relative to the team. Maybe Ben is playable in a different team

Joel got swept without Simmons

You do know that our team really sucks atm?

No surprise as he takes up 25% of the cap

Scoreboard doesn’t lie and moral victories don’t count

Some of the really crazy stuff going on here

Maxey is untouchable in a Dame trade

Korkmaz is only available in a trade for a superstar

Just fkn lol

Well Ben could be useful in Sacramento as he'd get them to the playoffs and they don't have high ambitions there anyway. Do you think we could get Haliburton for Ben? He is not a win now piece (now = this season), but ticks all the boxes for us and could explode here in my opinion. He also seems to be a hard worker. It seems that Sacramento values him highly but then again they currently suck. He'd be a better addition and a better fit than Fox in my opinion and Sactown would also get value in Ben.
I'm just not sure Morey thinks like this, he is maybe looking for an established star.

Morey traded Chris Paul for a years past his prime Westbrook & then “retired”

We will get a name but that’s it

Tomjas being against Morey and defending Simmons = Lloyd being against Fultz

Did someone just post that JoJo has been bad? What are people watching? He is probably the most skilled big since…Jokic??? They haven’t come up big to win a championship, but it took Jordan many years to get there as well. JoJo is easily the best Sixer since Barkley and it’s crazy anyone would lump him in with Ben.

I find it so odd that there's no smoke on the Brandon Ingram trade front. The Pelicans are 1-11 and they have a maxed out 24 year old. How has Ingram not demanded out yet?

Does Simmons for Siakam interest Philly fans at all? Raps board is split on this. Curious to get your guys take.

Trade Ben for Fox or Haliburton, Barnes, Thompson.

Kings can then fire Walton and hire Brett Brown and be a 1st round playoff team for the next five years.

Personally I think it's a downgrade for Philadelphia, and the fit is wonky. I'm also terrified of what Simmons could become in Toronto with that development team and system. He could terrorize us for the better of the next decade.

I'm more interested in younger players with higher odds of value retention in return for Ben over a hobbled near 28 year old Pascal Siakam, but I would do it over deals for someone like Brogdon or CJ.

Not a fan of Siakam. Don't like his fit here with his shakey shooting and presence of Tobias Harris.

I'd do Simmons and Thybulle for Anunoby and VanVleet, though.

It might look like a bad deal for Toronto, but you'd be banking on Nick Nurse working his shooting development magic with Ben Simmons and potentially unlocking a superstar.

OG is exactly what Philly needs for sure, and with FVV you’d win the title probably.

FVV
Curry
OG
Harris
Embiid

Yeah, it’s over with that line up. OG has the length and agility to at least make it hard for guys like Durant and Giannis. FVV is a big time play maker and shot maker, as is OG. Both are elite 3 pt shooters and defenders.

Only concern from Raps fans perspective is Barnes and Siakam are both ideal at the 4, so one of em has to go and we’re obviously not trading Barnes. So I’d imagine over the next couple seasons Siakam will be shipped.

This version of Lillard doesn't even make the Sixers better today, let alone a real contender. He's obviously going to play better but he'd need to play light years better to make a difference in championship odds. He's racking up bad games so fast there's a point here soon I wouldn't trade Simmons for him straight up.
