What people want(another super high draft pick top 3)and what we may all end up with (7-12 pick)is going to hurt some folks here. All im saying is to expect the unexpected here.

Cade is a really good player already, you can see it and has gotten better, and more comfortable each game he plays. He is unflappable (uncommon for a rookie)and plays with poise, well beyond his years. He sees the floor, and makes the right play for the team, not his stats.

These types of players, especially ones with his natural talents,(Cade) directly correlate to wins. If the team starts winning, it will not surprise me whatsoever.

This team is going to win 30 or more games this year, IF Cade stays healthy. It's best to accept that now.

Damn, was supposed to have knee surgery tomorrow so they made me do a covid test yesterday and I tested positive.

Wouldn't have known it aside from being so damn tired

Please provide the exact date you'll be back to 100%. If you have a good doctor he'll know that.

Top of the mountain for this team is 25 wins, they will be bottom 3 in record, Detroit/Houston/OKC will battle it out for the bottom. Who else in the league will challenge bottom 3? Maybe Orlando, but that's about it, the Pistons really are a level below the rest of the league at this time.

Hard disagree. We'll have to wait to find out who's right.

Orlando, Pelicans, Houston are bottom three IMO. OKC should be right there and I think the Pacers are gonna tank this year. I think we’ll be in the mix, where I’m not sure. These next four games will tell us a lot. I think we’re 6th worst.

the thing that makes me most excited about cade's defense is his awareness. it boggles my mind how so many NBA vets, even ones that are good defenders, don't move up on their man when the shot clock is at ~3 seconds. at that point you know they can't pass to a shooter and they can't do much other than a one dribble pull up. both times cade got up in green's grill with the shot clock winding down and green had to throw up prayers.

there were times when cade looked slow on defense but his advanced awareness will help him a lot in situational and team defense. i noticed it more in previous games but he was visibly calling out and adjusting PnR coverages as soon as he saw the screener move into place. a lot of young defenders react to screens but he was proactive in diagnosing what was happening and communicated to his teammates how to defend the situation. that kind of stuff is way advanced, and JVG commented on how cade was giving input to coaches which shows he has a great macro view of what's happening on the court.

Spot on. Cade has a feel for the game on both ends of the court, and that is something that can't be taught.

I feel that's going to translate to wins.
