I think it's mutual agreement. Houston wants to play the youngens and will try find a trade for Wall (good luck ).

Wall is happy to stay home and get paid,

I’ve no doubt there is culpability on both sides of the aisle, but I can’t believe Marvin Bagley thinks there is going to be anything good coming from refusing to enter a game for the Kings.

Sacramento is dumb for not moving him for whatever this off-season but yeah Bagley acting like an entitled child when he hasn't earned a damn thing in the NBA is a terrible look.

I wonder if Maxey breaking out changes things with the Simmons trade. Maybe Philly takes 4 quarters instead of a dollar now?

I was exactly going to post this. Maxey/?/Harris/Matisse?/Embiid is a solid start. Then Korkmaz/Green (though he's a corpse)/Milton/Curry from the bench. And Drummond.

A lot depends on Embiid being healthy though, and I'm not sure the tea leaves look great there...

No. Pacers offered Brogdon+Levert+1st
still learning the game

The East is different this year, there's only two teams I would honestly call bad: Magic and Pistons.
I'm not buying the Wizards on the top at all, but they also look like a marginal playoff team.

East is definitely stronger than the West.

That was prior to the start of the season, IIRC. I don't know if they still offer that same package now, especially with the mental health stuff that appears to be real.

Yeah I think that ship has sailed considering they extended Brogdon.

Ingles shoved the ref and he's going to miss some time for that.

New Orleans Pelicans Vice President of Basketball Operations David Griffin and former Pelicans head coach Alvin Genty recently had a heated exchange. Following the Pelicans home loss to the Kings in late-October, Griffin approached Gentry to say "hello." That greeting ended in the two being physically separated.

When Gentry, now a Kings assistant, was coaching the Pelicans, Griffin reportedly told people around the NBA that he'd given Gentry "all the answers to the test, and he still fails".

When Griffin approached Gentry following this recent game, Gentry reportedly shouted "You must not have given Stan the answers to the test, either."
That led to the two being physically separated.

I think Rich Paul is awful for the league and hope the Bucks steer clear of his clients.

But Morey also is in the wrong and he might get himself fired over this mess if he isn’t careful:

“I truly believe the fines, the targeting, the negative publicity shined on the issue — that’s very unnecessary and has furthered the mental health issues for Ben,” Klutch Sports CEO Rich Paul said. “Either you help Ben, or come out and say he’s lying. Which one is it?”

On the other hand, it’s way rich of Rich to cite the John Wall situation as a positive comparison (wow did the Rockets mess up trading for him).

Also Shams says neither Doc nor Embiid have apologized to Simmons for going after him after they got ousted by the Hawks, which I had assumed happened a while ago if anyone involved really expected Ben to play meaningful minutes again for Philly.
