Look, if Deuce and Grimes aren't gonna get minutes with the big club, not sending them down is a waste

I just want to see them play, and getting minutes in the G League will be better for their development than sitting on the bench and coming in for 2 minutes at the end of blowouts.
BaF Lakers:

Darius Garland/Cory Joseph
Klay Thompson/Shaedon Sharpe
Keldon Johnson/De'Andre Hunter
Evan Mobley/Tari Eason
Nic Claxton/Draymond Green

Bench: Leonard Miller, Jett Howard, Markquis Nowell, Kennedy Chandler, Day'Ron Sharpe

I’d go ahead and send McBride, he ain’t gonna play barring major injuries. Thibs will probably keep Grimes situationally available as he seems to like him. Kinda interested in seeing how Sims and Samanic do up there but can’t pretend I’d ever watch a game

MJ Walker is doing some nice things for Westchester. He’s got a great body for a SG and his jump shot is looking real smooth.

I sense a little angst in your post. Seriously, we should be using the G-League to get our guys coming off injuries to rehab there until they're ready for NBA minutes. But we didn't have Noel and Mitch was cleared to play. Maybe if Nerlens was healthy but, c'mon, we're kidding ourselves because no team in the NBA does that. I guess if they're going to risk an injury, they want it to be on an NBA court and not running around with a bunch of rookies and non-roster players.

I watched the game last night. At one point, the Knicks were down by 31. They couldn't defend the three, they couldn't make a three, everyone on 905 were making uncontested layups. What team does that remind you of? I know it's sort of the preseason, but I don't see them winning a game...at all...this year.

I want to watch G League games, but I just can't get invested in them cause I don't care. None of these guys are gonna make it onto the NBA roster, in all likelihood

Play Grimes and McBride in the G League. It's such an obvious thing to do, I don't get why we don't. I get not wanting top 10 picks to play down there, but it's not like there's a stigma against late first/2nd round guys playing in the G League. And it's not just for my entertainment, it's much better for their development than sitting on the bench. Practice is fine and all, but you need game experience to develop, and they're not gonna get that in the NBA this year, so just send them down.

Just trying to come up with possible reasons:

1. Thibs wants them practicing against the top NBA talent, if/when they have practices;
2. They want them around NBA players and watching NBA games to learn from watching the best every night.

I can come up with more stuff like that. Even then, why not have them play for Westchester in off days? I dunno.

Would rather Mitch be starting in westchester or in China than the NY knicks . That I’m serious about.

For context it because I feel he is the #1 reason the knicks are losing and arguably the worst player in the starting lineup .

In your defense it was facetious statement by me so I do not blame you calling me out.
