Just caught some highlights of Marcus Sassers first game this year, the guy looked super impressive.

This draft from the clips I have seen looks really interesting. This draft seems very under hyped. I like what I am seeing more from this class than the last few.

Damion Collins
Jabari Smith
Patrick Baldwin (maybe)
Caleb Houston
Jovic

But I think Collins and Smith would be atop his list because of skill/size at the position and versatility.

Mathurin and he's from Canada..

Yup forgot about him. Probably add him and remove Jovic as I'm not sure where he's at defensively.

Watching Patrick Baldwin play against North Dakota was completely uninformative, lol, those kids were totally overwhelmed by him.

I’m just going to say that coming into this season I really liked this draft and early returns shows it might be a little better than I expected.

I always speak from the Memphis Grizzlies perspective. The Grizz have 3 late firsts and I think they have a chance to get at least one but most likely two rotation guys from those picks. Plus there are a lot of 6’6 to 6’9 guys with various skill sets.

Can’t wait to see how these dudes develop in college. Quite of few sleepers in this draft too.

That's the downside with him choosing to play for daddy at UW-Milwaukee. It'll be kinda of hard to evaluate him due to this tbh, everyone on Dakota looked small and he just shot over them. The form and the dribble pull-ups looked good though.

Not on the bandwagon yet my man.

I only get 15 and ten have to come from outside the top ten, even Duren is being generous as a ten+ pick so I have to choose wisely. These are the ones I like the most at fair enough ranges but the season is early and the list will look nothing like it is now :) I’ll 100% miss some but that’s the beauty of it. 10-30 range is going to be the head scratcher trying to hit 7/20 lol.

Sall good, Totally understand. IIRC you loved Roko Prkacin last year before he pulled out.

Most people will be fixated on Paolo and Chet for obvious reasons. But I'm looking more at PBJ (sick nickname) and Jabari Smith.

Yeah thought he was a first rounder last season still do this draft. Look he’s not the perfect prospect but there so much to like about him. If not for anything he’s going to leave a trail of bodies on the floor whatever happens to him lol.

I think he’s a Masai pick too btw. There’s Deni/Wagner as peers for example but Roko plays like a bull in a china shop. Kid is going to be strong asf in due time. Thing is I’m happy to give him an extra season after this one because he’s so young (Nov 2002 birthdate).

Bryce McGowens is slowly going to play himself into the top 5 during the year

Many on here know that I’m a big fan of his, really really wanted him at Duke.

But I said this when he went to go play for his dad, it’s a complete waste of a year for him. I didn’t say it because he didn’t choose Duke. It’s because he chose a school where he will get zero media coverage and we can take absolutely nothing away from his on court production.

The vast majority of teams they play are trash. So his competition is going to be so weak we can’t make any real estimates on how his game will translate. He’s also going to be put in a role where his number will be called so many times that his numbers and production will be so exaggerated that you can’t really look at them.

Just a complete waste of a year. Can’t take anything from what he does on the court seriously and he has no negus coverage to help improve his name recognition.

Single game hot take but Caleb Love was pretty impressive. Good size for a guard and a nice scoring repertoire. It's surprising ESPN doesn't even have him in the top 60 right now.

Probably because he had one of the worst freshman seasons for a 5 star recruit that got significant PT I’ve ever seen.

McGowens is intriguing, possibly lotto but top 5 seems like a stretch unless he develops some real playmaking/passing chops along the way.

I had him as a lottery pick last year. Super talented, just needs to continue to work on his game.
