The heat are all fake tough guys except Haslem and Tucker. Tucker is scary but Haslem doesn’t even play.

what can they possibly do other than heckle Jimmy and co from the sidelines? Absolutely nothing. All this is incredibly absurd.

I love the “are all” it’s only Jimmy that barks, and it’s purely to get in peoples heads (eg JT Warren). Morris is what he is, and the rest of the non-named players just play ball.

I would love to see Duncan Robinson square up and yell “hold me back” - I would legitimately wet my pants laughing.

If you are referring to the fact that there isn't gonna be anything anyway, I agree. But if you are insinuating that they are not scary people in a brawl context, I definitely disagree. Jokic's smallest brother (at 6'6 and 200 lbs.) is a professional MMA fighter, and would obviously mess anyone up in the NBA, with the likely exception of James Johnson, who was actually a good MMA fighter, not just any run-of-the-mill fighter.

I doubt it, but neither one of us will never know. The way people are hyping jokic and his brothers you would think they've dismantled an entire army by themselves. It's all hogwash.

You think an MMA fighter would not beat up a basketball player? Come on now, that's silliness.

Put yourself in their shoes, and then it'll make sense:

1.My brother is going into what will be a hostile environment

2.There will be alcohol served in this environment

3.Given 1 + 2, there is always potential that a fan or two might do something dumb like throw something at him as he walks out

I don't think they're going there to start **** themselves - that would be extremely dumb. I think they're going to be present as a "just in case". They would do the same thing if it was any other arena, and definitely if it was in a game in Europe.

No what's silliness is assuming someone can beat someone up because they practiced a certain art form. I've seen enough life to know anything can happen in a fight.

Yeah it would be really stupid to assume that Ngannou would have an advantage against a guy like Jimmy Butler just because Ngannou practices a certain art form.

I'm guessing an NBA 7 footer would throw a featherweight around.

Trained fighter is going to beat untrained "fighter" 10 times out of 10, especially if they are the same size.

If you want to try to measure the elements of basketball that are supposedly unmeasurable, spend a game just watching Marc Gasol.

better question is why does anyone care who can beat up who? this is basketball, not combat sports. The fans care about who wins the titles, mvps, fmvps, dpoys... As for the jokic brothers, this thing so stupid. The thought that these brothers think the heat care that they bought tickets to the game is hilarious.

The Jokic brothers would not do anything even if another scrum broke out.......

If they..... if they did make it to the court, it would be the end of them EVER attending an NBA game again...period. They would be banned.

So is it true Morris injury was a career ender?

Things seem to be point to a possible degenerative issue that was triggered by Jokic.

In tweets Morris has said he’s cleared, but also acknowledged that he and the Heat have concerns about he being safe to play.

Degenerative?
