A lot of people **** on guards grabbing rebounds, Ala Westbrook. Personally I like it, a lot. One less pass to get the ball in your point guards hands and start the break immediately

Sometimes it feels like stat hunting, especially when a guard will steal a board and just walk the ball up, but it really doesn't feel like Melo does that. He wants to run, to grab and go.
If anything sometimes JB tries to rein him in.
