Recorded this one and just finished watching it. Nice to see Kuminga start to get comfortable. He's going to be good. So happy we drafted him. I'm hoping we don't trade him for Amare or something stupid like that.

Not gonna lie, I would be seriously bummed out if JTA's minutes get sacrificed because we're so deep. I love watching that dude's hustle.

Kerr's got his work cut out for him trying to find minutes for everyone. One of Iggy, JTA, Porter, Bjelica and Lee should be getting the night off every game.

OK off to a GREAT start.

The road trip should test them.

Hope they get their boosters before they leave. Because losing player availability by several players at different times during the season would SUCK because they didn't get boosted.

He can rotate them. Play JTA one game, Kuminga another, someone else another game.

if you wanna stagger them, you take Poole **** out and have him come off the bench more.

I like the experimentation with the rotation. Indeed I think Kerr should have been doing this in previous seasons.

Conjecture only on my part but while it is traditional for the team's best players to start, from a functional standpoint Steph is more effective as a closer. He'll start because his status demands it but it actually makes sense his minutes are weighted towards the end of the game if he is playing with a solid cast. If the Clippers game showed anything it's that basketball is like cycling or long distance running, there can be an advantage in being behind early in the contest as the opponent sets the pace.

Steph is also getting older now, the team will need to learn to manage his minutes better. If the team is good enough to keep things even, that provides him extra minutes for him to rest and that could be advantageous as he is used in a more efficient manner. It may also train Steph to be more efficient himself. It can be posited that the comfortably predictable minutes does not challenge Steph to be better. If he can get comfortable playing less structured minutes that could theoretically unlock yet another level to his game. Can you imagine a Steph who isn't reliant on rhythm to get hot? We won't know if he can do that unless it is tried.

It’s going to be tough for Kerr to manage minutes. The team is really deep.

Right now he’s doing 4 starters 30 minutes and the other 7 players with 15 minutes.

The problem is everyone can play and they are getting two players back. I can see Iguodala giving up his minutes without a big hassle. The rookies will have less priority, but they are also making their case

Some guys are just going to have to take rest days, but all the players are huge gamers that they love to play. It’s going to be hard to keep them from the game.

Gee, what a terrible problem, all these players deserving time. We were so much luckier last year.

(I'm not being sarcastic at anyone with that, by the way, just blowing smoke for fun. Everybody here knows it's a great problem to have. The difference from last year is night and day.)

After tonight Curry is only 0.8 PPG behind Durant for the scoring title

Wilt, Kareem, Jordan and Curry are the only players with multiple scoring titles, multiple MVP's and multiple rings. Curry is going to have to beat out KD for the MVP to keep it that way.

The problem last year was that the players that didn't deserve time (Oubre and Wiseman) ended up being starters.

Now we have enough talent that Kerr can't play the wrong guy... Unless Chorizo or whoever he is ends up starting.

GLeague Showcase is the week before Christmas. If Klay is coming back on schedule, that might be a good time to send Moody, Kuminga & Wiseman down to play together for a week and build some camaraderie, while Dub Nation is going crazy over Klay.

Boosters are no guarantee, and Wiggins can make it through the end of the season before he can get it.

In all fairness, Kerr sucked a fat on last year.

This is the usage percentage of our starting lineup in the 1st quarter last season:

Wiseman 25.1%
Oubre 22.2%
Curry 18.5%
Wiggins 16.2%
Green 14.1%

Kerr's moronic "get the young guys going" and "we're not chasing wins" approach absolutely sunk the team last year. It was the 2nd worst decisions he's ever made, just behind playing DeMarcus Cousins over Andrew Bogut in the NBA Finals.

If Kerr had actually used them correctly, instead of force feeding them, they may have actually had a positive impact.

I honestly don't see how Kerr has a job after making such obviously poor decisions. Honestly, Wiseman and and Oubre? Get the **** out of here.

Luckily Bob Myers has saved us and this team appears to be fool proof as long as he plays Stephen Curry.... Especially in the 4th quarter of a close game. Steve **** Kerr not playing Curry in the 4th **** quarter. Jesus Christ. His decisions make me so angry.

Great game, this team is going places. And also putting the defensive clamp, love to see it.
